 yeah you beat z06's on the track. even a terrible driver in a z06 would demolish a z33 on the track. i love the 350z but ****, some of you people are delusional.

Completely false. You discredit the driver mod too much.

Google the female taxi driver at the Nurburgring as an example. She drove a delievery van around that course faster than many drivers in sports cars could do.

In December 2004, Schmitz gained notoriety in the United Kingdom for showing-up BBC Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson by narrowly missing the time he set driving a Jaguar S-Type Diesel around the Nürburgring whilst driving a Ford Transit. The final time with a slightly stripped transit van was 10 minutes and 8 seconds, comparing to Jeremy's 9 minutes and 59 seconds. When filming Schmitz on her attempt, the team couldn't keep up to enable filming, so they borrowed Jaguar test driver Wolfgang Schubauer to drive the Jaguar S-Type R chase car.[2]

Yeah, I can see a auto in a G35 Sports Coupe fully loaded. My wife and I almost went that way. Since I had a performance car (LS1) I thought the G was a good four seat replacement for my Sable/300ZX cars I had with a little bit of fun thown in. The Auto G would not take a forced down shift very well and I felt I was always in too high a gear most of the time through the twisties. We enjoy mountain crusin' together so spirted mountain driving is important to us. It just wouldn't shift when I wanted it too. Kind of frustrating. We were thinking of getting rid of our Sable and older 300ZX Turbo for the G35 Coupe.

Then, I test drove a Base Z. It was all over once I finished the test drive. It just seemed like a hopped up version of my old Z. A true sports car complete control in whatever gear I choose. Even as a base car it seems exotic/lux to us. Not a smooth cushy cruiser like the G35 with the Auto though. So, I did get rid of my 300ZX Turbo and kept the Sable since it's in perfect condition. Then we bought the Z for 10K less with M6. Best of all worlds.

To be honest, I enjoy the old school auto I have in my V8 Cougar better than the Z's or the G's Auto.

LOL In 4 yrs nearly every car would probably have some sort of DSG/SMG etc... The 2008 997's are getting PDK/DSG.

sounds like someone needs to do a FD swap to 3.5.

btw last time i was at the track I ran 13.45 on DR with my auto. The MTs were running 14.0, 13.9, granted prob the driver but whatever. I'm not completely stock but I do not have that many mods either

+1 Dirty, its bothering me as well

Listen up....you small membered/too much testosterone/hairy knuckled/big man wanna be's...I warned ya!!! Stop the MT vs AT crap or it's Kung Fu quotes for you! Now go away, or I will taunt you some more!

Lee-You: Why are you following me? What do you want? AH! You are from the temple. Have you nothing better to do?
Young KCC: I was instructed to follow you.
Lee-You: Come now. You can think of a better story than that.
Young KCC: It is the truth, Lee-You. I am doing what Master Poe told me to do.
Lee-You: So wise a man, said to follow me. Why?
Young KCC: He said you could teach me a great knowledge.
Lee-You: (Laughs) But I cannot read or write. What can I teach anyone?
Young KCC: Master Poe said you had found both great wisdom and great happiness. And if I observed you, I might learn what they are.
Lee-You: (Laughs again) Such a fine joke Master Poe has played on you. Sending you to tramp on the dusty roads, after an old man, who does the only thing he can do. He lives every day from its start, to its end, and hopes there may be another to follow.
Young KCC: There must be more?
Lee-You: Nothing more, my son. But if you choose to think there may be more, you are welcome to follow.
