Default I have a disease !!!!!

I have had the 2007 Z for about 2 weeks now. I just washed it today and was looking at some threads on here. I came across some pics of new 2007s with the hoods up showing the fabulous Z engines. I thought to myself shoot I didnt wipe down the engine compartment. I quickly ran outside and wiped what little dust and dirt was there to get her nice and showroom clean.

Does anyone else have the same disease that I am afflicted with ?

Yeah it's called paranoia.......

jk....It feels good to have a clean car whether it's inside or out. So know it's not a disease it's the love you have for the car.

I know, I have an appointment to get the windows tinted and the Clear Bra installed on the front bumper. I need that thing. I already have a couple very small knicks in the bumper. Cant see them if your standing up, only when you get real close. I want to put an end to that real quick.

I considered the clear bra too, but then opted against it...it's kind of like putting plastic covers on your couch-in principle an excellent idea, but not exactly my desired look...

I think its more like a condom. Having one is safe but you lack the shear enjoyment of being natural

I understand maybe you are a automotive painter by trade..... you own a beautiful car just a little road driving and the nose on your Z looks pitted and then you have the chance to spend your time, elbow grease and $$$ to fix what you may have been to cheap to invest in, the first days of your Z cars life. Is it really worth it ????

HAHA, At least I know I am not alone. The analogy of the plastic couch doesnt work. The clear bra is not noticable to people that dont know its on there. I think its a wise investment. Especially with a 5 year warranty on it. By that time I can take it off when I sell it and the car will look like new.

I guess it might depend on the color, but the clear bra is almost unoticable unless your installer sucks. I could not think of a better investment with such little to no intrusion on the looks of the car. It is nice knowing that bug juice or rocks are not doing any damage.
