In fact, the Ford is in the shop for it's 2nd replacement transmission (3rd in its 13 year lifetime). I sure wish I had an extended warranty on either my Chevy or Ford
Well, we are talking about warranties for a Nissan!

The last "domestic" brand in my driveway was an '88 Taurus.

Since then my stable has been Nissan trucks (Hardbody/Frontier) 626 sedans, Camry sedans, 2 MR2s, a Miata, and my Z.

And virtually zero maintenance.

Woohoo my 03 has the plus warranty until 100k or 5 years. Personally I'd pay $1600 for a simple peace of mind.

Thats why people buy extended warranties.

to the OP, no more warranty = time to supercharge or turbo the car.

I also had a 93 RX-7 with an extended warrenty, from what I remember they replaced my motor, a main/front seal forgot which one been a while and the trans later on.

3rd Gens took the warrenty companies to the bank lol

Yeah, I made out good on my old stealth twinturbo when I had the tranny and transfer case replaced several times all under the warranty. Usually though unless it is a domestic or something Im going to put alot of miles on Ill just pass on the extended warranties
