Thumbs up Saw my first Z's today up close

I was at Pinnacle Infiniti in Scottsdale today having some work done on my g35 coupe. I had some time to kill so I walked over to the Nissan side to check out the Z's. I never really considered the Z because it's a two seater.

It looks even better in person than in pictures. Daytona blue really stood out and that is probably the color I would go with if I bought a Z (which I obviously am not going to do at this point, even though I couldn't convince 3 salesman I was just looking). Those Nissan salesmen sure are a pushy bunch. The Z has a noticably shorter wheelbase and seemed to sit lower, too. Really a beautiful car and looks good in all the colors just like the G35.

BTW, how are Z sales going? They must have had 15 Z's on the lot and there were no g35 coupes on the Infinit lot. If your interested, they also have a
$39k 2004 Maxima for sale complete with 20" chrome wheels and "pinstriping".

39K for the Maxima... typical of Pinnacle to do that. 1st model year of a vehicle and they love to rape unsuspecting consumers.

But... Pinnacle helps pay my bills so I don't complain too much...

I guess what I really was asking is if dealers are willing to negotiate on the price. I think the 6MT G35 coupe's are still pretty hot and hard to get anything off MSRP. I ordered my base 6MT coupe in November for MSRP - 32.5k with no add-ons. Tremendous bang for the buck IMO.

Pinnacle definetely rakes it in on the options. Every sticker had the 1 grand automate paint protection and $400 dollar tint. Uninformed buyers with money to burn would be Pinnacles wet dream.

i'm thinking that nissan has put too much attention to the US on the z now, cuz we in canada actually have the opposite situation, our z's order had run out for the entire year(which means u have to order it now and get the car a year after) and the waiting list of the G35 is just one month. Basically the US market is flooded with the z but all the market in the other part of the world are out of supply right now~
