I fell for this crap as a "novel idea" and got charged . . . no sponsorships full/partial at all . . . I'm still trying to get my $89 back . . . DOH! Def a ripoff . . .

 

so at what point do they actually charge you? do you have to accept the sponsorships first?

I got the sponsorship from them at one point when I had a 4runner. I already had custom paint on my car and they still gave me a decal sponsorship...I agreed to go with it being a good sport and they saw that as a good thing...
then the graphix company said that what I wanted was not simple enough and would go over my sponsorship price...so I passed at tha point trying to figure out what else to do....
Then I GOT MY Z...I sent them new picture of my stock Z and my plans...they agreed to transfer my sponsorship. I had even gone to see them personally. This was a few years back. They were kinda weirded out that someone actually showed up there.
They said they had all these sponsorships for me and one for example was motegi wheels or whatever who didnt have a staggered set up for my Z...it was all places that didnt have things specific for my car....I tried to work with them...they ignored my commitment to it.
Needless to say I have my Z pretty much fully modified with no help of theirs.
All out of my own pocket with very little to no discounts from anyone....

CarSponsorships.com didnt work for me. I did my part..they slacked.
They have slacked with everyone else I have spoken to.
And most of what they offered was ricey....
