Donations for Kevin (Lakelandkev)
If anyone is interested, the 350z Club of Florida has started taking donations towards getting Kevin a really nice flower arrangement. Anything that is left over we will be giving his family to help replenish some of their funeral costs. We have several donations so far and generous ones at that. Once we are done, I will be posting the total collected and the total leftover to give to his family.
If you would like to donate anything at all, send it paypal to oceanrayz@verizon.net
In the note, please put your username as well so we know who you are.

(hopefully they find that son of a gun )
RIP Kevin
EDIT 06/21/07: Donations are still coming in and I want to thank everyone that has pitched in so far. We will be accepting donations until Friday morning. I make one last check around 9am before I head out to meet for the funeral. Whatever the final amount is, I will write a check for his family and present it to them on Friday.
Paypal address again is oceanrayz@verizon.net

Found it.
Police have identified Kevin Steven Crichton of Lakeland as the victim of Sunday's traffic fatality on State Road 33 in North Lakeland.
Witnesses told police that Crichton had stopped at a traffic light at Griffin Road, then sped north in an apparent race with another motorist.
"It appeared they were racing," said Jack Gillen, spokesman for the Lakeland Police Department.
At a curve on SR 33, Crichton, who would have turned 31 today, lost control of his 2003 Nissan Z and overturned.
He was not wearing his seat belt, Gillen said.
The driver of a light-colored Dodge Charger who was seen racing Crichton at approximately 7:35 Sunday evening left the scene of the accident. Anyone with information about the vehicle is urged to call police at 863-834-6900 or Crime Stoppers at 800-226-TIPS (8477).
On the news, they said witnesses say the charger was orange.
