I am purchasing an '03 with 11k miles today. I plan and doing some mods to the car and would like some advice as to where to start. I am putting new 19" 8.5/9.5 rims on the car and would like to know what I should do next. Should I upgrade the suspension first or the exhaust? At first I was planning on putting a new exhaust on but now I'm leaning towards getting a new suspension like the Nismo S-Tune. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

Suspension over exhaust for sure. Stock exhaust sounds pretty damn nice. I would also look into getting 9.5F and 10.5R for your wheels.

 

I have been thinking about the 9.5/10.5....i haven't made a decision yet.....is the Nismo S-Tune a good suspension to get? I'm sure there are some better but am looking at these because I can get them for a very good price.

 

Yea def go with the suspension first you wont regret it nismo s-tune is very good im sure there is better but if you can get a good price go for it.Then do the exhaust the nismo exhaust sounds awesome too my friend got the full catback and it sounds badass.

 

I don't agree, definitely get the bigger rims, but go with exhaust first. I have Nismo exhaust and it sounds AMAZING. Besides the Z is already a very good handling car, unless you are going to the track or something like that you don't need upgraded suspension for now.
