Sweet, I'll look into those, thanks. Any reason you say "real beater" ?

BIKE FTW! Save on GAS. Then use the Money Saved (of course with more) to get yourself back in the game! 350z, STI, EVO.....I'm not hating on our Z's!

Don't listen to these people who say you'll die from riding or it's too dangerous. If you basicly ride with common sense and don't ride like cocky maniac weaving in-n-out of cars than you'll be fine. My female friend has been riding a CBR 1000RR for 5 years. She always gears up and obeys traffic laws.

It really doesnt matter how much "sense" you have, It's the people that you drive around that have no sense.

you could get an rsx.

But anyway, why not get a civic si or something? ive heard theyre alot o fun to drive, and its still pretty affordable. It definately wont be as fast or exciting as your Z, but at least it wont be boring either. If you'd like to save money, then just get the beater.

Drive around a beater for a couple of years until you finish grad school, then you could get yourself a nice 370z or even a GTR with some of the cash youve saved.

I think that you're dumb for selling it.
I would have:

Either kept it or parted it out.

Don't get a bike if you have living people who care for you. When I was 22 I would have responded in a MUCH different fashion. I'm now 27, and sold my bike last year.

With the position you are in, why dont you just buy a normal daily driver like a nice truck or 4-dr for utility in college. Then when you're done with school, you can always buy a nice sports car.

Um, you do realize that "parting it out" means thousands of dollars in labor, right ? And the closest mechanic that I trust to do this kind of thing, Sam@GTM, is an hour away. I don't have time for all this ****. Not to mention the fact that I don't have any of the original parts. So if parting it would have netted me an extra thousand or two, then I'll happily pass that up for all the headache saved.

Yep. I've personally witnessed to many accidents involving bikes this year at least 3 and 2 getting chased down by a CHP doing at least a 100mph. They stopped as the CHP's bike was no slouch either. Anyways I like bikes, but I love my health and life. One accident i didn't witness was where my good friend had to lay his bike down going to work to avoid a ped. on the HIGHWAY. He almost lost his arm and did loose some usage of his hand.

Awww, don't get mad now, sweetie. I'm just busting your stones. I do have an opinion, and it matters. (crosses arms and stomps foot)
Sorry you're not a competent mechanic. I shouldn't assume.
