Yeah, John's car has had me second guessing since the parking garage pics with the gunmetal TE37s It just looks so good modded. Something about it makes the mods come out so much more than other cars.

John...congratulations... your Z is really the best-of-the-best.

1/ I wish that I had ordered PPW ... I still love my SS... but if I could do it again -- I would definitely order PPW. Damn, that color is nice. I thought about it long and hard... and thought that the SS would match my future mods. Wrong.

2/ Since you have the JIC sus and NISMO stabilizers -- I (and I am sure others) would appreciate your impression of your suspension setup. I am really interested. Please post your driving experience when you get a chance.

Thanks, and again, a big round of hoo-waa congrats !!!!!

Omedeto !

John, you had my vote at the show. You should have won 1st. Pictures don't do the car justice. It looks so SWEET! Have not seen many pictures of your brakes so here are some that I took.

failsaf3 - that's a cool pic you posted. seems they did a real good job putting that fire out eh.

rob nance - i specifically bought white because it looks good modded and is very easy to clean!!!

fairladyz in japan - how are you doing? hopefully enjoying your car. anyways:

1) i had a chrome silver track for a month and i knew that white was the color for me. out of 8 cars that i have owned, 4 of them were white. i couldn't wait 2 more months for the white track, so i traded it in for a white touring. if i had the chance to do it again, i would of bought a base or a performance without the side airbags.

2)my jic flt-2 suspension and nismo sways: i love them. car rides stiff, but i like the ride to feel that way. car handles like a dream. corners like crazy. if i didn't go the jic route, i would of went the tein flex route. i chose the jic because of the monotube dampers instead of the double tube dampers of the flex.

another set-up i was looking at would be the cusco zero-2 coilovers (race suspension) with cusco sways. didn't hear much about this set-up, but sounded pretty good.

i do love my jic and nismo sways set-up though. haven't though twice about it yet.

grey matter - thanx for the vote, but everyone had the best car there at the show!!!!!!! anyways, did i meet you? i was hoping to try and meet everyone down south. if i did, well happy to meet you and hopefully we can meet up someday again. if i didn't, hopefully we can meet up someday. (i'm thinking you were the older asian guy that came up to me)

here are a few more pix of the brakes for you grey matter

Hey John,

Any problems with your ABS since you installed your brakes?

And, how the hell did you get your car on that lift? You're like 0.5 lower than me and I can't seem to find anyone with a lift that will fit under my car.

Congrats John!!! I knew you're car would make it as car of the month Representing NorCal!!!

So what's next? some engine mods? interior mod? sound system mod?

ok, ok, I'm still working on my first real mod... (clear corner, grounding wires, and nismo caps don't count.... unless I'm the fnf car...maybe I need to get some dragon and nismo sticker... )

failsaf3 -
1) no problem with ABS
2) the guys i know that have lifts use wooden planks to drive over to raise the car a bit so that the lift arms can be put under the car

deludedbuzz - thanx for the compliment, but i bet your 350 looks just as good if not better.

whatever - thanx for the compliment. i have a body kit in mind soon. maybe.
