When I first saw the hood I didn't really like until I saw it on a San Marino. But today I actually got to see it in "action". It was a Solar Orange Z and it was beautiful, so was the chick driving! I pulled up next to her and gave her the thumbs up and she winked and gave the thumbs back. As I drove away I got to see the hood in the rear view mirror....thats what pretty much what did it for me. It looks so mean and performance inspired. Especially from about 15 cars back, it looks like the Z has a supercharger on it or something...anyways just my thoughts...

and no I didn't try to get the chicks # or anything...I was in a rush
she was prob just being nice anyway!

 

haha. I felt the same way before I saw it on a SMB! Since I bought it, I like it more now- looks more pissed off.

 

agreed. i really like the new hood. also, some people have already commented on my hood saying it looks more aggressive, which they liked.

 

I agree 100%. I didn't like it at first in pictures, but absolutely love it in person.

 

The old hood looks whimpy by comparison now.
Also, look at the original Z...same hood design. Very cool they brought it back (also so it doesn't look like a Maxima/Altima hood!).

ditto. A few months ago when i was getting more serious about getting a Z my friend told me to get an 07. I kept telling him no because i thought the hood looked real hideous. When i saw it in person, i definately like it more. Side by side next to my friends Z, both in PPW, i really do like how it bulkens up the front end giving it a bit meaner look.

 

first time i saw the 07 hood was in person, so i pretty much never disliked it :P

 

I liked the new hood since I saw it. "Lump Boy" doesn't like being called lump boy because of the hood though.

 

I think the 07 hood is awesome, but most people I meet don't think so. As most of you know I am always made fun of having the 07 model with it because I am always called lump boy. You learn to live with the bad comments toward the hood eventually!

 

The '07 hood looks the best from 2 miles away.

Liked it from the get go it looks much more agressive.Everyone thinks there is a supercharger under the hood lol pretty much the people who have no idea about the Z'S think that.

 

I love the 07 hood. But thats because I own the damn thing. Stop hating just because you dont have an 07. HAHAHAHAHHA

 

I didnt like it at first and now i love it.

 

I don't like that the front edge is steeper than the bumper, but the engine more than makes up for it.

Running .5 faster than the other Z's at the track is quite entertaining, especially when you stage by NA cobras and new mustang GT's.
