Default Parting is such sweet sorrow...

After two years and two Z's (blk 05, silver al 07) I've sold the 07 for a more practical, four door sedan... The volvo s60 R. 300hp and 289 toq.

This was the hardest thing I've done in a long time. Oh well there's always 2009. :0. I'll stick around to stay on top of all the Z news though. If anyones interested I'll post pics later. If not I understand.

S60R is not a wagon. It's a sedan which, imo, looks pretty damn nice. I heard the interior is pretty nice too..

My bad, not an 07, but an 06 (typo)... Paid 29K otd, sold it for 24K. Yep lost a little. We moved into a new house, had to down size the auto's, we had five. Her miata was the first to go then the Pacifica...And then my beloved Z.

The S60 R is not so bad though... it can **** and get. This is the last year for the R series according the the dealer. Will I miss the Z??? In the words of Issac Hayes, "you damn right!"

Z's will be around for a long time yet. Sounds like you're destined to own another Z.

Good luck with the volvo. For some $ you can really get some good HP out of the 6. I would just keep it stock though and sell it later and buy another Z.

Congrats on the S60R. It is an awesome car and can be made quite fast with easy mods. Don't listen to the jealous foes who talk trash about it.
