Auto doors kick ***.
I thought it was a trick, like getting in it hits the "out stops" and swings right back in nicely!
I havent got the chance to pinch my hand turning off the VDC yet though.
Thats the first thing I do after I turn the key =)
Happens to me all the time, the parking lot at the gym is on an incline and the door always shuts on me when I'm trying to get my bag and whatnot from the passenger seat.
I had numerous passengers who opens their door, stick one leg out and decides to do a 2 sec chit chat before going. Then BAM! There goes their shin!
Some people get weirded out on me on how i push the door out with enough force but gently then I rush out of the car, then i tell them, "watch". lol! Auto close! FTW!
Yeah it happens to me almost daily. I have to do this quick little move where I try to get out before the door demolishes me, and at the same time I'm trying to hoist myself out of the seat without putting pressure on the side bolstering of the seat (because I read a long while back that Z's are notorious for the seat cover material wearing through on the bolsters). And when I have my hands full it's all elbows and knees pushing the door open. It's gotta look funny when I get out of that thing.
Those wide doors can be a hassle when getting out of the Z in the garage. Sometimes my wife parks her SUV too far from the opposite wall. I pull in with the Z, have to slowly open the door about a quarter of the way so that I don't hit her car, and then slide out carefully as the door tries to close and pin me against the door jamb. Sometimes I hit my head against the glass or roof. Luckily I am thin. Don't know what would happen if I had a spare tire or pot belly.

Yeah mine does it all the time. You look like a real *** if you open your door and then turn back to get something and ...................BAM! I learned that one the first time
