350z GT Hard to Find
I know what you mean. I had to special order my 06 GT and they said it would take 6-8 weeks. So I placed the order in June and i finally got my car in september which is 4 months later, but I have to admit it was worth the wait. I would do it all over again. Besides it helped me save a little more money before the purchase.
Thanks to all that responded. I just wanted to see one in person before I lay down the cash. I may end up going with the Touring model knowing that I really wanted the wheel setup of the GT.

I had the same issue with my dealer. They searched nearby states to see if they had my choice but they didn't. I ordered it and the dealer said it will take until October.
In the mean time I have been lurking the boards learning everything I can before I get my Z. The wait is killing me but I am sure I will be content because I will have exactly what I want and be sure that no one red lined it on a test drive.
NJ dealerships are pretty low on 350z right now, 2 to 3 on a lot -- pathetic
.
Your kidding right 30,000 a year -- check this out.

However, I don't mind the low sales. This is why I want one.
