If the Navy will pay for the shipping, take it with you. Buy a scooter for commuting and have a great weekend car for exploring, assuming you can get fuel on-base for less than on the local economy.
Dont do it.Specially cause the roads in Sig are very slippery and theres pot holes everywhere.Another thing, Italians are very well know for breaking into cars.
Just keep it at home and ejoy it when you go on leave.

If u already modified ur car n spent lot of $(if u really love ur ride), then just keep it. If not, sell it and put the money in stock or something... When u comes home after 3 years, hopefully u will have enough dough to get a skyline GTR, probably around 80k 2 90k. Man, I hate mark ups!!
I have a new z on order so am qualified to comment. I also have another sweet ride that I have owned for 27 years, Yes 27 years. I have let this car sit for extended periods of time. You can do the same. I agree with ZmaXimus, I would find a garage though and not a car cover outside. Have your dad drive it on occasion
This is a correct number matching SS 396/350

Thanks for all the suggestions guys! I think that I'm going to wind up keeping it at my parents place. It won't be garage kept, but it will be off the street and driven weekly.
I'm going to put some things back to stock to make a little easier for my pop's. I'll take off my Aerosync front bumper, v3 sides, rims, and go back to OEM cats. I just don't want him to go through any hassle if he takes it to the local stealership for any work. I'm going to try and make it as convenient for him as I can. 3 years is a pretty long time for him to watch over my baby. I know that he'll treat it as if it was his

Check this out, VPC will take care of your vehicle for the whole 3 years without putting any miles on it. Here's a report that I got online. You can access it anytime and see how you're baby is doing. They also top off fluids and add fuel stabilizer. No complaints.

I'd keep it and buy a beater car for Italy or better yet a used bike. After the 3 years you could sell either for about what you paid for it if you take care of either. When you get home you will have a paid off Z and money in your pocket.
Take the car with you, 3 years is a long time. I was station at Comiso for a year, driving around was'nt that bad. Made quite a few trips to Sig. Get on the autostrada and F with some prancing horses.
