Any Canucks get any updates from your dealer? Did any Canadians get the order tracking numbers that the US guys got? Anyone in Canada got a VIN?

 

No change in ETA, still end aug begining sept (ill keep my hopes up). No and no.

 

I spoke to my dealer here in Ottawa this week. They read me a letter that they received from Nissan Canada. It said that July production has been pushed back to August and it will affect delivery dates.

 

anyone in toronto area know a dealer that will ask for less than 2000 dollar depost for delivery in around next feb-march. If i order right now.

 

Another thing I'm curious about is the fact that we were not given the option to add accessories from the factory. Does this mean that we will get things like floor mats and door sills included?

 

Tracking number S874340, no VIN. Supposedly July production and August delivery.

 

I spoke to my dealer the other day and he said that I should be receiving my order number shortly for delivery in Sept. He mentioned that someone who made a deposit same day(May 15) as mine received his number yesterday.

Just received a copy of a memo sent to the dealership regarding my order, its been pushed back a month . I'll be receiving it in October instead of September production. Sure glad it doesnt snow out here in Victoria, B.C. during the winter!

What do you mean? If you are getting it in October, then it is September production...is it not
I was told september production, but I assume that means end of october delivery right?

 

Being on the west coast the dealership said that since im located right where the car arrives from Japan, I'll be getting mine before the rest of Canada for that production. Its 10/02 production and it takes 2 weeks to get here from the factory so Im probably lookin at the end of October.

 

I was initially told that mine was scheduled for Sept production, but was later informed that it is actually an August production, delivered late Sept, early October. No VIN or track #, but then again, I never asked for them. I figure there is no need to bug my dealer for more info as there is obviously a lack of communication between Nissan Can and the dealers.

 

Just got a call from my dealer.
Car got pushed back 1 month. Now August production, Sept delivery.

 

Here in Vancouver, at my dearler there are a few people in line in front of me (pre-ordered it first) and they've all received their production confirmation numbers and all are expecting delivery from the end of August into September.

This is going to be a tough wait for me!

 

Are the Canadian cars offloaded somewhere in a Canadian port or are they coming to us from the US?

I would believe that its Vancouver, yes. However, that said, we've not been fortunate enough to have a Z kicking around the different dealers like some places. I did hear from my dealer that there was an event at one of the hotels to introduce the Z but it was only open to the dealers and not the public.
