Default New and Need Advice

I am new to the forum but have been a member of ZDriver for a few months. However.... I do not own a Z. I do have a dog named Zues, and I'm in the market for a Z33 6MT. I've found an '03 with 87K on it. Great condition. Definately has the camber issue. I did get some good advice from the ZDriver guys but I was wondering if anybody has a high milage Z and how it's behaving. By the way they're asking 15.9 and I can get them no lower than 15K with new Komo fronts. Probably another 7 or 8K left on the backs. The belt has some cracks and should be replaced soon.

sounds like a good deal...87k is up there though...but believe me the z will run loooonger than that, way longer...its all what you want.

by the way the Z is a awsome car it doesnt only have speed, but it has luxury and great stability for auto x. if you have a chance to pick it up for 15k id do it. but if you have more than 15k i would look around and see if you can find something with alot less miles.

it took me a month to find mine. 19,995.00 with 13k on it.

Jake

Well I don’t know in what rim but I wouldn’t buy it. You can get a Z with much less miles for the same price.

Z-E-U-S. Sorry typo. Anyway I've been a fan of Z's since I was a kid and I can't wait to get one. Gonna be a lot of fun in the North GA mountains. 20K for 13K is amazing. I may be able to swing a bit more cash but I agree that this is a great deal. Plus it's a touring. I may look at another touring with 34K for 20 grand. Can the camber thing be fixed with an alignment? Any way of catching the oil consumption problem?

Really? I haven't seen anything less than $18,000... Even for a base or an enthusiast. Plus I'm picky. No yellowins or burgandy and no autos.

Why buy a 350Z with a problem that you may never solve?

sorry ddint read about the camber issue...

i personally wouldnt buy it if it has that kind of an issue and isnt covered under warranty. i havent seen a z for sale under 18k, even when i did a nation wide search on auto trader there wasnt much, and if there was they usually had salvage titles or very high miles.

are you looking to finance or do you have cash?

I can't believe There is a Z out there has more milage than mine, Mine is a 03' with 83k... but my license was suspended 4 2 years though(only 1 year in the beginning, but during that period I got caught driving twice, and I got half year longer suspension each time. I don't drive at all the second year n grip load of lawyer $).
Anyways, if the ex-owner took excellent care of the car, then it might worth ur $ ... maybe u need to bring that car to specialty shop n fix that problem though... any mods on that Z?

Actually this ones got three previous owners. I think it used to be a program car as that's what all the other cars at this dealer are. Definately rethinking purchasing this car. From what I understood almost every '03 had the camber issue. I am financing but I don't have much for dowm payment so I was trying to get out cheap, but I might be able to go up to 18-20K. Just hoping to buy cheap and spend on mods (this ones got none). Wish I lived around 350z00m... can't find anything near that price in ATL.

So... is it possible to find an '03 without the camber thing? I thought they all had that problem. What about an '04? I know some of them have it too but maybe fewer?

This could be a problem here. I would look for another car. I would rather pay a higher price for the car that is sound, then worry about fixing something every month. I think if you buy this car, you will spend more money out of your pocket in the long run, by fixing issues. Their is a reason why this car has 3 previous owners.
Good luck, but I would stay away.
