Default Finally got my Z! Yahoo!!!!

After 3 months of being jerked around by countless dealers, I finally found one who was willing to deal fairly and honestly (Larry Loomer at Mossy Nissan in Oceanside, CA; he's very cool and upfront, though I can't say the same for their sales manager).

It's a Silverstone Performance w/Aero and some other goodies. It doesn't have side airbags (which I wanted) or Nav (which I didn't), but after 1 day of ownershp I'm absolutely exstatic with this car!

After a few test drives at dealerships that honestly left me feeling ho-hum about the car's ride and performance, I'm happy to say that I must've been stoned or deluding myself; this car rocks! I can't wait until it's broken in...I have a feeling a few trips to Vegas are in order to get that out of the way!

Also, visiblity isn't nearly as much of a problem as I thought it would be; I don't have any problems seeing anywhere now that the mirrors are adjusted correctly.

Anyway, I've been lurking here for months and I thought I'd finally speak up to share the great news. Keep up the great posts!

Peace,
Andre

I felt the same way you did. I liked the car a lot, but couldn't understand why everyone was saying how much power it had. But I never let it rev when I was on a test drive. The motor really comes to life if you stomp the pedal.

Enjoy the car.

Congratz. Welcome to the club.

I must also say... until I reached 1000 miles (Almost to the 1200 break in point) I really wasn't overly impressed with the power of the car.

Well... today I hit 1000 miles and couldn't wait for the 1200 mark. Driving to work on I78 I came down the on ramp and hit 6K RPM. DAMN this car has power!

This car preforms better than my 95 T/A with a 5.7 LT1
