Default My first "someone parked near me! WTF?!"

As the title says... I was at the mall visiting my girlfriend while she was on break. I parked almost all the way at the end of the lot which is like a 2 minute walk to the entrance. As I was leaving I saw something funny. Must have been at least 200+ spots that were much closer but there was an M3 parked right next to me. I know he/she was doing the same thing as me so I guess I should take it as a compliment Sorry for the small picture and bad quality but it was a camera phone.

I know it happens to you guys alot but it was my first experience and I thought it was pretty funny.

Sometimes having someone park next to you is not a bad thing. If it was a nice car like that then they are probably very careful and you each got half your car protected.

Funny pic.

Since, its another sports car, I wouldn't worry, I think he was just saying he likes your car...although he could have parked more than one space away and still gotten the message across.

I agree, but most of the time big SUVs and lifted trucks park next to me when I park far away, they do it to p!ss me off.

I probably would have been a little irked that he parked right next to my car.
Sure, he's probably just trying to keep his car from getting dinged too, but leave a parking space between the two cars (it's not like there weren't any open spaces available!)...

well ofcourse ... he did damage to your car and he obviously went out of his way to park near it, so he should have respected it to begin with

At the very least, he's/she's protecting 1/2 your car.

haha i love these threads...pointless but funny seeing how others react to your Z esp with a crapload of other empty parking spots. He prob. felt safe that his 1/2 of the side would be safe from dents

+1. Take it as a compliment. He probably worries about door dings as much as you so you guys are protecting each other's halfs.

Welcome to the club!

As for post saying to take up two spots, I don't recommend it. Its like advertising "My car is special....come an vandalize it".
