Default 2004 Model

Are there any new colors or options on the 2004 model? Has nayone heard when it should come out, I am thinking of putting adeposit on one now but i have no clue what options or colors will be new, if any. Should I just wait for the car to come out or should i put a deposit on one right now and pray? Thanks guys!

i think they have a new shade of silver...i wouldn't put a deposit down, there are so many Z's to choose from these days...unless you really want a certain model/color combo...i doubt they will have new options (but i'm not 100%)

Yeah I am not sure what to do, I want a Z so bad but i want a 2004 model becuase I am sure Nissan would have fixed whatever problems the 2003 model had but if I can get a rediculous deal on a 2003 Touring model, that would be great, what do you guys recommend? I am getting the Touring model no matter what though. I just have to have leather seats. Any suggestions?

I want a touring with leather seats, No NAVI, no splash gaurds (want the NISMO body kit) and no spoiler. All I want are the kick plates and the Side Impact airbags. What price should I be looking for?

Thanks!

Might as well wait. Always best to avoid a first year car unless you absolutely must have it, or be the first on your block to have one. Also, besides getting some bugs sorted out, you only have to wait a few months to get a car that will be perceived as a year newer when you want to get rid of it.

Im not sure what problems they would fix... grease streak pops into mind, but I doubt they would wait till 2004 if they have a fix now.

model years change design, dont typicly fix problems, TIME fixes problems, it might be a year that it takes to fix it, but it might be 6 months, if there is a problem and they get a fix, they arent gonna sit there and make 10000 more cars with a problem wiating for 2004.

2004 will bring a new silver, closer to the liquid silver on the show Z. not identical, but closer. brickyard might also bite a bullet. long shot that a yellow might appear, thats a rumor Ive heard, but typicly reliable sources have said silver, and nothing of a yellow.

they might move a ciggerette lighter, change an interior peice... somethin like that.

I know this might be a dumb question but, what does liquid silver look like?

The new silver (K25) is on the new max...its very close to chrome silver, just a tad deeper and more metalic....if Nissan did introduce "liquid silver" to the Z lineup, then I predict they would drop chrome silver.

There were alos rumoers of an updated center console nav door. I dont see a reason, but it was a rumor.

Perhaps later on the mesh seats in the convertable will be available to the coupe..?..

What seems wrong with the Nav display door? I test drove the car and the only complaint is when i had to close it, seemed a little flimsy but no big problem. I wonder if this is true. hmmmmmmmmm

If they're gonna fix a door issue, it should be to make the gas cap door cover thingy not feel like a $2 piece of cheap plastic...
