I'd say I'm fairly open minded but unfortunately this color doesn't work with STOCK RIMS.

Add some nice volk 19's (NOT CHROME) & it will balance out the extreme color.

I'd like to see this...

I just installed my 19 inch gunmetal g-games rays wheels and it looks hawt! sets of the a nice contrast with the solar orange, ill try to take pics, its not dropped yet so there is quite a wheel gap, but still looks hot.

 

can you still post the pics without the drops.....i'd like to see the before and after on the drops

 

I think Yellow is a terrible color.

Here's mine (Cloudy day though) :

 

Personally I like it. Saw it on the LIE heading home and it stood out like a sore thumb. Like it better then I thought I would.

 

I love mine as well. Something different than all the regular colors. I think the stock rims work fine with the color.

 

Looks great! Smoked headlights/CCs would look killer with that shade of orange.

 

I like it. Adding some contrasting black is not a bad idea though.

 

Here is mine, not dropped yet and did not install my nismo v2 bumper and side skirts, it will look better when I get those installed.

 

^^^ not too bad. I still do prefer the Metallic look of the lemans sunset. It def. is an uncommon color to find. Ive only seen 2 Z's this color since it came out.

 

I like it...not as much as yellow, but it does stand out!

 

Today, Aug 2, first I have 3 kids, around 5~6 years old walking by, no adults and they were staring at my car "nice car" said all 3 of them. 5 years old kid! Then, a lady, around 45 ~ 50 years old, was pulling into the parking spot besides me, and I was just about to take off, she opened the door and said out loud (my window was up) "nice car". Then, 2 kids (brother and sister I presume) were crossing the road. I stopped in front of them to let them cross, the brother around 12 years, stare at me and again said out pretty loud "nice car" (I was quite far away from them). This color looks really nice on the Z because of the style; it looks even better with the Nismo spoiler on.

 

Hey buddy, that is exactly what I have: Solar Orange with Charcoal seat. I love it. I am getting gun metal wheels next week. You should consider the Nismo spoiler, it makes the car look awesome!
