Default 07 Z - retarded dealership

OMG guys i have to tell you something funny...I went yesterday with my friend who was thinking about getting a Z. He drives a 5 speed 330ci right now. so we go to the guy and ask him to test drive the 07 Z. I also wanted to test drive it to see the differences from the 06 that i have. So im driving with the sales guy. I tell you....he had to be the dumbest person ive ever seen. During the test drive, he starts saying dumb things. He points at the Hazard sign(WHICH THEY MADE HUGE THIS YEAR) and goes "This is the racing symbol" I was like what???? he says when u see a corvette you press this button. then he gives u back the sign and then you zoom off. I was like wtf are you talking about?? Then he says then when you beat the corvette, you flash this button a couple more times. I say "..... beat a corvette huh? how do you say i do that?" he says " its easy...just put a couple of tanks of nitrous oxide in here"...omg i couldnt stop laughing. So then i started guning the car and redling 1st and 2nd gear, the guy got soooo scared. Then comes the best part. He takes us on a "DEMO" tour of the engine. He points at the engine and is like "Guys this is the engine" im like wtf...... Then he is like look dual air filters, thats why you get more horsepower boost. I was like OMG id never buy ne thing from this guy. lol. Then he goes to teh inside of the car and says...guys this is the volume button. He turns on the radio and its not clear at all. Hes like "The car is not tuned yet" thats y the radio isnt coming right. i was like "are you kidding me??? you dont think its the fact that the antenna is not hooked up?" lol. That was sooo funny. Kinda makes you think how can people like this ever sell a car to any one.

P.s. As for the changes....there are minor changes and obviously its a little faster than teh previous models but Nothing i consider a huge change. Practically the same car.

For all of you wondering...this is the Samsone Auto Mall- Nissan on Route 1 North near Woodbridge, NJ.

most salesmen have no idea what they are taking abut. Thats why when i walk in, i point to the car, drive it, then talk to the manager.

Salesmen know two things about the car... the hp and the commission and they'll have to look the hp up for you

Kinda sounds like when i went to Rothrock in PA. I already walked in knowing what I wanted and told the guy exactly what I wanted.
6spd, Touring, Solar Orange.

He said hold on let me get someone who knows the Z cars. I said I know the Z car, I just need you to sell me a car. . . . bad mistake.

This clown says oh we have plenty of 6 spds here. I said you have 2 and they are not touring nor Solar Orange.
He said oh we have 2 solar oranges here too. I said, dude are you listening to me? I said 6spd and Touring, both are autos and base or enth. One was a roadster.
He goes yea, but they are Orange. I said do you really think I am looking to spend this money on a car just because its Orange? I want what I want.

He says OK and works the options. I kept telling what I wanted, no more no less. It took him a 1/2 hour of questions. At this point im ready to leave.
He finally comes back with numbers and I am working with him telling him the deal I was getting from another dealer. He said we can take off those Door sills and knock like $140 off the top.
I just looked at him in amazment. I asked him if he really thought taking $140 door sills off would make the deal.

We talk numbers and he kept going to the "tower" for approval. Im like WTF dude, are you selling cars or a secretary? He said he just does the paperwork, no call on pricing. I dont know what kind of car salesmen doesnt at least do anything them selves.
He keeps telling me he can get me this nice payment. I say I want the exact payment and terms and I will sign here. He kept saying it will likely be around this price. I told him I am not looking for a round about. I am looking to buy a car. Get me the numbers and I will buy it.
Next day he called me with numbers wayyyy off what we discussed and I never called back.

Later that week they called me to see if I was interested in purchasing the car. I said your Mongeloid sales staff could not seal the deal so I already took delivery on the car I wanted.

Its a huge difference at Infiniti, their guys actually get trained on their cars and other cars to do comparisons while dealing.

Ok jumping in here because I just got back from the dealership today. I dealt with a very nice lady who didn't know the difference between a roadster and a coupe. So...I tell her, no, i don't want a convertible (thinking that will help) and she brings keys out for the roadster. I said..."ok i want the hard top, NOT the convertible" and she says "can't you just put the top up?."

Fine. I talk to a manager. He looks at me and says, "well are you interested in buying the car, or just driving it?"

This is where I start to get angry...

Sooo fast forward a week and we get to today. They know I am serious and can pay for it, and again...we go through the whole "well here is an automatic roadster" routine! Finally we get to the point that NOWHERE IN THE WESTERN HALF OF THE COUNTRY is there a Daytona Blue 6spd Touring with Side Airbags.

SO here it is: If any of you can check your local dealership's website, and find me a 6spd Daytona Blue Touring with Side Airbags, I will order it here and SEND YOU $20 IN THE MAIL. Can't take more than 5 mins to check right?

Thanks much in advance and I appreciate the help.

What year are you looking for Zian?

anyways.. stealerships are not fair at all. I remember a while ago during winter when my window motor stopped. You wanna guess what happened? i walk in there and ask the guy at the desk if he can take a look at my window panel. I had just gotten the car and i wasnt so confident in my own judgement. He tries to bang the panel to make the motor work. no luck. takes me inside and brings the mechanic from the back. They start deliberating how much this is going to cost and it goes something like this: "how long of a job are these window motors? One hour?" (mechanic) "ughh.. no they're more of a 2 hour job.."

Im getting so mad at this point. He then so professionally takes out a scratch piece of paper and with his professional BIC pen which is disposable btw writes down the deal... $ 485 dollars... for a window motor. Thanks for reading.

Default When I first called my local dealer...

the guy laughed at me over the phone. I was 23 and the sticker price here is upwards of 60thous...

Well who is laughING NOW BEEEEEEEEEEEATCH... LOL

Ps. Guy was a mad loser. When I bought the car a week later I made sure to walk buy him to a friend of mine who works in sales there. I usually stop in every few weeks or whenever I add a mod just to rub it in. Man...that guy is a mad dick. Makes me just want to buy volks right now. Where's my wallet...

They never allowed me to talk to the manager because they like to play the good and bad guy game. The salesman is the “good” guy – of course.
