Post Grand Touring Worth It?

So I am about to buy an 07...and its a very large hassle to try to ship in a touring...but a grand touring IS available...so the question is this:

Grand Touring+Nav: Worth the extra money over a touring with no nav?

If it fits your budget then why not? One of the most frustrating things about buying a car is regreting later you didn't add a particular feature. OEM Nav is one of those with no recourse if you decline unless you go aftermarket.

there are some perks to the grand touring

- better wheels (forged rays)
- brembo brakes (decent bbk, does the job)
- nav (unless you go aftermarket)
- little things here and there

if you plan to mod like crazy, then maybe the GT isn't your model

Sounds like a bargaining chip with the sales agent. I would bet If you played your cards right you could get a great deal On the Grand Tour.
If you cant get your price ,and its too much of a hassle to ship the other one. I would walk and tell em I'll wait for the 08

haha hey pal...well I guess it depends on what I can get the dealership down to.
2gs for a nav is ridiculous...and like we talked about...that much money could be rims and tires...suspension work...hell half way towards FI. BUT...if it costs that much to get a touring in here anyway....

poor me I have to go GT??

Depends on price difference. I drive an Ann Edit. Basically the same vehicle as the Grand from what I understand. If I was to buy new, I would go touring and add aftermarket brakes, nav, stereo. IMHO.

Nav sucks, Brembos are good, but not a BBK. Bose are 6/10 IF!!!

I almost pulled the trigger on the GT, but got an Enthusiast instead. No regrets. I got my color option, I got LSD, I found stock RAYS wheels off a member for a great price. Only regret is leather, and I'm looking in to an aftermarket company that can do leather/Alcantara seats for $500.
The only real advantage to the GT are the wheels, brakes and Stability Control...if you care about that stuff. Otherwise, save $10k (you'll get the same great engine, suspension, HID's - the important stuff) and I bet you'll be just as happy. I am, and I was between the Z and an M3...go figure

I asked myself the same question when shopped for an 07 and decided to go with the touring.

The Enthusiast model is the most cost effective version.

A Navigation equipped vehicle (from factory) will always command a better resale value so I would go with the Nav car.
