thanks for the comments guys. I just wanted to share my experience and my love for the car. I gotta say even though i drive it everyday it still impresses me each time. I still turn around and take a quick glance as I walk away from it and smile. You guys know what i'm talking about. The only real gripe is the front bumper is badly chipped. No surprise there though. Haha. The rest of the car still looks great and glossy.

It's good to see some others putting a lot of miles on the Z. Got my 06 in Feb and i am at 12.3k. Sad, too, because I live 3 miles from my work. Problem is everyone i know lives 20-30 miles from me and most importantly the gf lives 40 miles. Meh, just means more time I get to go "ridin' in the car, car".

Wow. I thought I had a lot of mileage on 2006 Z, bought end of Oct 2005. It's currently at 16K miles. Of course, I use to live in NYC and easily was doing under 5K miles / year on Mustang.

Well first off I always felt cars are meant to be driven. I bought my Z and I intended to get the most out of it. So I enjoyed using it every day.

holy crap. 67kmiles? that's tons of miles. I don't think Ive driven 67k miles total for the past 5 years. The Z looks nice, especially with the drop and a few bolt-ons, your commute should definitely be enjoyable.

I have been contemplating adding the JWT oil pan spacer to increase the capacity to 6 quarts.
Switched to German Castrol in the Z and Amsoil in the Silverado and have yet to come up short on any checks of the dip stick on either vehicle. The oil switch was about a year ago, so I'm convinced it was the Mobile1 oil, at least in my case.

Good write up, it looks like we have identical cars and purchase months. I bought in Jan 06 and have 34k on mine.
My commute is 2 hours each day and I concur on most points. I don't have any grease issues but my dash rattles a bit, will fix that.
What about your tires? That was my first big change.
