Default Can someone help me out??

I'm pretty close to buying a 350z, but the only thing thats really holding me back is this: Since this car will be my only car, I sometimes (maybe 1-2 times a week) have to bring a ladder with me for work. The ladder is pretty small, I'd say 4 feet tall max. I'n my current car (mazda 6) I can fit the ladder perfectly sideways in the trunk, I measure the trunk, and at the deepest its about 4.5-5ft wide, so plenty of room for a ladder.

Would someone please be able to measure how wide the trunk is on their Z. I might be able to find out some other way, but I'm hoping this is the quickest so I can possibly buy the Z this week.

Heres a decent visual to explain what I'm talking about just incase I confused you.

Think I'd be able to get this ladder to fit somehow in the back?

I don't recall ever checking, but does the passenger seat fold forward enough to have a ladder extending from the trunk to the front?

sorry for the noob questions, just really need to know. THanks to everyone that tries to help.

if it's a 4 foot tall ladder... just lay it on the floorboard and lay it backwards into the seat.... the rear stabilizer bar is gonna get in your way... that thing sucks as far as i'm concerned lol

Can you provide more specific dimensions of the ladder?

a) width at top
b) width at bottom
c) length
d) thickness (folded)

I was thinking about the roof idea, but don't wanna scratch up the roof.... and it'd just look weird having a Z lug around a ladder on top.

If it's important to you - take the ladder and go to the dealer and test it.

Thats what I'm going to try and do tomorrow before I write off the Z. I'm sure they'd allow me to try it if it'd get me to buy the car.

ive heard a 5.5 foot+surfboard fits in the front seat...you just move the pass side up a little bit, recline it far(which it will if you move it up) and lay it down.

it'll fit, dont worry about it.

it will definatly fit if it's 4 feet. you don't put it side ways but put it in straight and lay it on the rear console.

that way would be fine to, you'll just need to put a towel or somehting over it cause that black plastic back there will get shredded.
