My girlfriend and I were at the gym and after we were done I could not find my keys. everyone leaves their keys on this table and I knew exactly where I left them. The management of the gym helped look for them but we couldn't locate them. I saw my car outside so i knew it wasn't stolen but I was still worried that whoever had them was waiting for a good time to steal my car.So we went outside to see if my car was open so i could get my cell phone. As I'm walking to the car I see a guy crouching down towards my car on the driver's side and I see my car door open. I immediately run to my car and I see this guy is in my car. I open the driver door and i'm pissed and I yell get the f*^& out of my car!he's adjusting his seat back and he's about to start the car. just to let you know I'm 5'4 147 lbs. but I'm very muscular and in great shape..was a personal trainer for 5 years..but this guy was a huge guy! at least 6'2 250lbs..well anyways..i get him out of my car..he tries to run away I tackle him down..but he gets back up..i rip his shirt off. his hat, glasses while he tries to get away..I grab him by the underwear at one point..tripped him down again and told him to stay down..I didn't want to hit him cause I wasn't sure if I really hurt him I would get that against me so i was just trying to get him down and wait for others to help. I yell for help and someone to call 911.. He gets up again and starts running..by that time..I'm so winded cause I just worked out and I can't catch him. some fire department people were luckily there and a few of them and some gym staff all chased this guy and finally caught him..the funny thing is he was denying the whole thing and stated that I was beating him up and roid raging and that he wasn't in my car. the cops that arrested him knew him and that he was arrested last month for some kind of theft..the manager at the gym knew him and he was fired from another gym for credit card fraud..he was bangin his head against the window in the cop car. 10 more seconds and my Z would of been gone.Igot in my car and could not open the passenger window. He must of pushed that button trying to lock the car..luckily he didn't hit the lock button right next to it..then I wouldn't have been able to open the car door and get him out.well anyways i had 3 or so witnesses and they said it shouldn't be a problem getting him convicted of grand theft auto.. so I will see this bastard in court eventually. It was so weird.I've never had anything like that happen to me before..it's all still sinking in.

That's why i never leave my keys on that rack at the gym. People are so stupid, i don't get it...

X2 when I go to LA they have free lockers so you can lock your keys halet and phones up.

 

i always carry the keys with me on a lanyard so i know that i have it with me. it's really hard for it to fall out as well if it's on a lanyard.

next time beware of your keys if you go to the gym. i found a key to some nissan a couple of months ago and turned it in, it just suprises me as how some ppl are careless....but then again we're human.

Never leave the keys to a 30k vehicle in the open. I did that once, luckily no one took them. Good going on snatching that overgrown bish. Score one for the shorties.

You are a calmer man than I am. I catch someone breaking into my car they are going to want the cops to show up.

 

Yeah..I replay the event in my head over and over. Now after talking to the cops..I would of used more force when he was down. The cops said it shouldn't be a problem convicting him especially with his prior arrests and the witnesses and my testimony of him in my vehicle trying to start the car.
