How long before 350z is in the "was hot" category?
i just got my Z 3months ago and every time i look at her i turn into RIC FLAIR,"Woooooooo!" "It's the best thing going today." "It's like ridin on Space Mountain baby!" you see it just happend again. i was just wondering how long before the 350 is put in the "was hot" category? to give you an idea of what im thinking i remember seeing the Toyota Supra the one with the tall wing(cant remember the year)for the first time and thinking thats gotta be the hottest ride out there. also thought this about the 3000GT cant remember which was first but now i dont give that car a second look. other than exotics and the GTR do you guys see any other car in the near future as a 350z killer?
typical davidv answer ^^^^
I still love the supras and think the look amazing, the Z was great lines and with a few mods, it'll still stand out and look hot for years to come
plus they aren't as common as mustangs or other cars like that, and there aren't that many where I live

I dont think the hotness of the Z's will ever die to be honest i just talked to a guy at the carwash not to long ago.He recently traded his 06 Z for a Z06 vette and he said flat out the Z got more looks then his vette ever did.To tell you the truth most people who ask me about the car dont even know who makes it half the time when i say its a nissan they think im lying.
Hopefully you buy your cars, and marry your wife, for more than just looks. Long after the looks have faded (?) there's still plenty of performance left in the old gal. My '05 has nearly 3000 miles on it and I still get that thrill every time I turn around a look at her. The styling is classic and enduring, not at all like some of the new cars trying to make a name for themselves.
The Supra MKIV, 93-98, is still hot!! Newer cars will always look better or have more features but if you find a car you really like then it's always going to look good to you no matter how many years have gone by.

While the Z is a nice car, in the grand scheme of things, it's still a $30,000 car (a fully loaded Camry would cost just as much). Besides, when you're doing your woo thing, the Porsche, Z06, M5 drivers just look at you, shake their heads, and move on.

Why are people on this forum always asking questions like this? There always threads like will it be a classic, or will it be worth much or oh no they make so many Z's. I mean do you really worry about these things? If you like the car great, drive it, if its "hot" or "classic" or whatever who cares.
Ok thats a enough ranting for one day, I'm not trying to rag on the OP just observing what seems to be a common trend in posts here.

I don't know if it's "hot", but I will say it is a beauty. It has classic lines regardless of the price. It's one of the best looking cars at any price. The only new car out there that really makes me drool in terms of looks is the Cayman. I felt this way about the Z long before I got one. Is sort of falls in the timeless good-looks category. Same with the S2000.
