Do any of you roadster owners experience this a lot? What do you do to deal with it? Don't get me wrong, the attention is nice for a while but don't you get sick of having to clean out your car of all the panties at the end of the day?

I was sitting at a stop light the night before last, and a cavalier pulls up next to me. I had my window down and I heard a guy say, rather faintly, "that's a bada$$ car". I looked over to him and said "thank you". He looked at me all surprised and said, "damn, I didn't think you could hear me". 
He was saying it to the driver/passengers in the car he was in.

For some reason, I always seem to be surprised by it, even though I get at least a couple compliments a week on mine, and it's an '04 w/70k mi. on it (although modded and very babied nonetheless). I guess as a balding, married 40 yr. old w/middle-aged spread, I feel a little uncomfortable, esp. when an attractive high school age girl tells me I have a cool car or that I should give her a ride. I just keep playing prison songs like Folsom Prison Blues and Midnight Special over in my mind, lol.
It's still hard to believe folks get this kind of response from car that's supposed to be "only a Nissan."
