Black shows the curves and lines of the Z so beautifully. But then again it shows all the imperfections i get from driving it daily too
. Like most have said Don't settle for what you didn't have your heart and mind set on. You like most of us probably did your research on the Z you wanted and the dealer shouldn't be the one to F*** up all your dreams. so tell the dealer to shove it and throw in some nice nismo accessories to the car and you'll be happy

Just got back and had to call it a night as it started pouring. Thanks for all of the input, and I figured I would give you all an update:
I decided that I needed to get my eyes on the black coupe to really figure out what it looked like in person. I found the dealership that it was located at, and made the hour and fifteen minute drive just to see it. Well, I fell for it. Pictures don't do any justice, the black GT absolutely took my breath away. I compared it to the blue, and for me, black won hands down. They were both also conveniently dirty, so I got to see what I would have to work with.
To make an excessively long and complicated story short, I called the other dealer, played the reluctance card, "but I really wanted blue, and it doesnt have this and that option, etc." The car was transferred, negotiations ensued, and I got a great price.
I am now the proud owner of a 2007 Magnetic Black Z.
Pics to come. Now I have to decide whether to sleep in the garage or not....

P.S.
Initial impression after the drive back to town and my fun tonight-
I LOVE THIS CAR. And thats WITH all my time behind the wheel limited to 4k rpm. 1000 more miles until I can uncork her...

Get the one you originally wanted, the way you wanted.
Do not settle for something else.
You will only regret it.
I made that mistake once before.
I bought a black car, instead of the silver I wanted.
I was never really happy with that decision.
I was impatient, and paid for it.
Traded that car in for a silver one 8 months later.

Black was my second choice....until I saw the car. Made the blue look...well almost cheap, in my opinion. I wouldn't even have considered it if I thought there was even a slight chance that I would have regretted the decision. WAY too much money to not get everything right. Anyway, I am too excited to sleep and it looks like it has stopped raining, so I'm going to go cruise a bit...

But I think Black/Black is the best color. you do have to wash the car often though.
ps. dings n scratchs are more visible than any other colors, that's the price for looking good! pix come right up!!
