Your are correct,
you know I trusted them. The director of service shook my hand and said I will take care of it. I also got a copy of the approved sales purchase for the rim.

George from Pasadena,
Okay well that's a completely different story. Sounds like they changed their minds and didnt bother informing you.

Friends, ANDY IS A SUPER COOL GUY THAT IS IN MY SIDE. LETS KEEP HIM OUT OF THIS. HE IS ONE OF THE GUYS WORKING IN MY SIDE. YESTERDAY I WITNESSED HIM HELPING ME AND MAKING A CASE FOR ME WITH THE SERVICE DEPT.
CAN WE PLEASE KEEP HIM OUT OF THIS SERVICE DEPT. PROBLEM?
GEORGE FROM PASADENA,
+1
Andy is a cool guy (helped me out a lot in the past), but I've had many issues with the service department at performance thus I don't go there anymore. (They owe me a center cap for my SF Challenge!)
I still use their parts department though.
Good luck with the dealership. I hope they don't make you take the legal route.

I don think anybody is saying anything bad about Andy. His rep. here is well known and many of us, including myself, have done business with him many times to be familiar with his professionalism.

George from Pasadena,
+1 on not settling for a refinished wheel. After being refinished it won't match the others and will be a PITA to keep clean due to the clear coat being removed. They have to do them all or buy a new wheel. The new wheel would be cheaper and better.
I'm not going to bash Performance in the least bit. Stuff like this happens when dealing with service dept's. Hopefully they can get it straightened out.

too many things wrong with this story...first if you have a copy of a approved sales invoice, why did you not keep in contact to let these people & let them know that this is a serious matter and that this copy is a admission of guilt and that you need to be compensated for the damage. #2 I hope that you have been civil in talking with this dealership they are a sponsor on this site and members even in Texas seem to vouch for their word, also spitting on someones hand as they are trying to shake yours is just wrong. I understand you are bent and this is the time to show "the man that you are" making threats (sue) usually does not make dealerships freak out, you think that they have not heard these words before??? #3 if the dealership is not taking you serious then maybe you shoud : Sounds like you've got a pretty good case if things need to be taken to the next level. I'd prob. have a lawyer write a letter on your behalf to let them know your serious" and lastly whatever happens either way it is a fact that you will have to find another NiSSan dealership for service in the future, I beleive that each dealer is able to refuse service to any customer thay they choose, even if the car is under warranty.

You are taking way to many liberties with your erroneous assumptions. You are wrong in your conclusions and appear to me that your are trying to preach me. I bought new 1991 Nissan 240sx I have done business with performance Nissan since they open their dealer. You said that you are aware of their reputation. I do not disagree with you. Remember that the service and the NISMO DEPARTMENTS are very different operating departments. If you are happy with their service department, more power to you.
George from Pasadena,
TBH you probably shouldn't have done anything about this publicly until you had spoken to the person you had been dealing with, yes I can understand your frustration at being kept in the dark but don't listen to advice from 3rd parties who may not be in the loop, you need to speak to the person you have been dealing with directly, it could be that he has ordered this and is just awaiting delivery and the other person isn't aware of this.
I also have to advise that the use of 'FRIEND' is bloody annoying, you're starting to sound like a 419'r sending out letters asking for my help in securing $55million that some Arab Prince deposited into a bank in Ungabunga.
In all honesty, take it off site until you have had the final word from Performance Nissan, then you can let us know how things turned out, whether for the worse or better.

I went through the same thing with a dealership outside of chicago. They scratched two of my stock rays during a TSB alignment (I even told them beforehand to be extra careful). Not only did they scratch them, but they did a $hitty job with the fix. They offered to refinish @ their expense. I said no problem as long as they were color matched. Got the car back and the color was off and I wasn't happy with how they refinished. A letter to the owner/manager then led to two brand new wheels. Then I sold the set the following week.
