the only time i could ever recall anybody messing with my car was the time i was shot at by a car full of drunk kids and a bbgun, while i was driving for no apparent reason and um... ya that pretty much sucked.

 

punk/redneck kids in a beat to **** camero threw a small coin/metal object and hit my left front fender one time at the light and took off in a hurry.

 

I dont know why the OP didnt just go ask those guys if that was there truck. Then confront them.....you would be able to tell in a split second whether they had anything to do with it or not. If so then handle it like a big boy. Dont go spit on their door handle.

I was at Costco yesterday and this redneck dude was standing next to my car on the phone and as I was leaving he was talking to his wife telling her that I was leaving and that the spot will be available if she hurried. So as I turned on my car, I asked the guy if he wants me to wait. He replys "You sir are a great man, but I won't tell anybody else that you are "! <===imagine how a redneck would say it. I smiled and left wondering why he would joke telling me that I am not a great person? LOL

It's always pleasant reading how people judge others by the vehicle they drive. Unless the OP actually witnessed the people from the truck do those things to his car, the bottom line to this story is it's the OP that spit on another vehicle. Sorry, who's the Mr. Hater here? It was probably those "damn kids" again...

 

Never had a problem with my car. Don't know where you guys live but I have never been subjected to that type of nutsy behavior. Have had some compliments and mostly people just react as if it is another car. I park in an open area to avoid dings and have never had anyone park next to play games. Maybe there is something different about Tucson.

 

nothing has happened to my z yet but back when i had my 3000gt i had some kids throw a bunch of dirt all over my car and the same night i was driving home i got a egg thrown at it.

when i bought my 2006 gt roadster in one week i got 3 key marks from the front tothe back all the way to the metal...............i was going to kill someone!!!!!!! but luckly in-out camera caught the idiot who did it and he is still serving community service on the side of the freeway!!! lol

HE DESERVES IT they even asked me to drop charges and they would pay but i got payed and his record is ruined for the rest of his life!!!

 

Shoot, as scarce as I take out my Z this makes me more worried about driving it more often. I always feel that way when I'm away from my car. I thought I was just one of the 90% of OCD Z owners but I guess you can't blame me these days.

 

well if you live in a large red neck populated area you need to blend in with the other cars so all you have to do is put stickers on your window saying "git-r-done" or or have a sticker of a deer head or a duck or a personal fav. the fake bullet hole stickers and you'll be good. Or if your in "punk kid" populated area may i suggest local band stickers or one of these

 

Vandalism has happened on my Z..it just got fixed this past friday. My co-worker say drive a POS and this wouldn't happen to you. I just say yeah F--- it lets just become socialist! j/k . Haves' and have nots. Well I live in Sac and nice cars are outnumbered by Trucks and SUVs' go figure.

 

i always park in the back of the parking lot and my girl friend thinks i am crazy for it....... the other day we went to the movie theatre and she complained about walking too far and said it would be funny if someone parked next to me..... well we went inside only to find it was packed we left, came out and some huge *** truck was litterally 2 inches away from my bumper it makes me wonder if he tapped it and backed up....... seriously ? what the hell?

Actually one time I came out of starbucks and found a huge ***** drawn in the light coat of dust on my rear hatch window. I assumed it was because they knew I had a huge ****, and decided to warn the females in the area. It wiped off easy enough at the gas station...
