I ordered from Alliance Nissan in Elizabeth City NC, because all the atlanta dealers were playing games early on (actually, I tried to put a deposit at GP Nissan back in Feb '01). I got a great deal up in NC.

I was hoping it was from my dealer so I had an excuse to call him again The closer it gets, the harder it is to have patience!

 

I had to call my dealer also, but I believe most will get more info next week when the GMs come back from their meeting in San Diego. My salesman called the regional office to get the info for me.

 

Had a message on my answering machine last night - Delivery date between 9/4 and 9/7 - Atlanta - VIN JN1AZ34D23T100XXX. It appears that, unlike most of the folks on this board, I've gotten along fine with the folks where I bought the Z. I was told that I would be notified when they knew something, and that happened. I just left them alone to do their jobs. IT WORKED. Car is Enthusiast - no nav. The sales manager told me about a month ago that the car would be here about September 5, and he would call me when he had the VIN.

Also, he will call me when the hauler arrives with the car, and I will have the opportunity to immediately get down there and check the car. He will not put the front tag plate on it (Georgia doesn't require a front license plate), and he will not place the dealer's decal on the car.

 

Recieved letter from my dealer,delivery of my 350Z will be during the second week in September. Super black performance 350Z, aero, 6MT.
