Another VIN and delivery date est.:

VIN: JN1AZ34E43T0*****

Expected Delivery Date: Sept. 2, 2002
(Yes, I bugged my dealer to see if that "2" was really a '02 as in the year. He seemed to think it was really the date.)

I placed my pre-order the first day that faxes where being accepted. I think that was Jan. 16?

Location: Rome, GA (but I live in ATL)

Looking through the collected data, I didn't see any Silverstone cars with a VIN. Odd to me since it seems to be the most popular color choice. Possible production delay with the color, or just a bad sample of data to draw conclusions from?

Just a thought.

I think the "E" means that you have Side Impact Airbags as well as the standard Airbags.

"D" just means standard Airbags and 3 point belt restraint

Salesman on vacation. Got to talk to the inventory mananger. I filled him in on all the latest info and told him where to go look for our VINs. Persistance paid off!!!!

Congrats!! I am sooo jealous. I almost went to the same dealer you did when I ordered and now I wish I had. My little dealer in So. Indiana is obviously not very high up on the priority list compared to a bigger dealer.
