Everyone Else: Remain Calm! This is good news for you too(I think....I hope). Maybe many of you who have yet to receive order numbers will shortly be receiving yours, along with a VIN at same time.

In a post at zcar, I have politely asked ZISME to offer some guidance and direction for those of you who have not received order numbers yet. Granted, I don't think he has ever replied to a post of mine, or an email of mine, but there is always hope for a first time!

I applaud all of you who have not yet received order numbers, as you have remained very calm during this time when others are receiving their VINS. Even if you are frustrated, and have posted your frustrations, I still consider that remaining calm. I totally support your posting of your frustrations, and would think that Nissan should be pleased that you/we have. This information has to be valuable for them. Imagine if we didn't have this forum, and couldn't share our information. I know I would be a complete basket case, waiting for information from my dealer. And Nissan, without our feedback, might think the system is working without flaw.

It's been confusing for us on where to direct our frustration. In the majority of cases, we don't know if the dealer is to blame for us not receiving information, or if Nissan hadn't provided this information to them yet.

Well, know this. ZISME advises that all of our dealers have the ability RIGHT NOW to tell us when our car is scheduled to be produced, and when it is scheduled to be delivered. (Dates subject to change, of course). If you have not received this information, I have requested that ZISME advise us what to do. Hopefully his response will be specific, and not in generalities.

Do you think I am out of line in making this request?

Thanks again to everyone for your continued participation in the sharing of information. I hope it has, and will continue to be a source of support during these final days of waiting.

Note:

In my database, I currently have 100 orders that have not received at minimum an order/tracking number. I am not sure about the accuracy of this information. This database was started a while back when we were posting our Packet Numbers. It is quite possible that some people are in this database from that time, but have never revisited an Order Number/Vin thread to updatethis info. I question whether almost 50% of us actually do not have an order/tracking number.

I have put the word "none" in this field for those people that have more recently confirmed that they are still without this information. Shortly, I am going to purge the records that have just a blank in the tracking number field.

So please, if you are currently without a VIN or tracking number, and if your tracking number field does not currently show a "none" in it, let me know so I can update your information.
