Default Forced Induction or Wheels?

I have a V2 kit and a HKS exhaust waiting to be installed. I havent installed them yet cause i was going to order rims. I'm thinking I can either buy new wheels or single turbo or super charger. What do you guys think I should do? right now i'm riding on the stock 17" ugly 04 wheels.

keep this in mind without proper wheels and tires you will have a problem hooking all the power to the ground so you see where im getting.

FI, you can get some cheap used wide wheels/tires. Do FI first
Im really into speed and theres never a day wishing my car was turboed or superchanged dont have money to spend.

Ilov350EE, thats a good point. I'm thinking of the Turbonetics kit and maybe some cheap e-bay wheels for now. I just hope i'm happy with my choice.

I choose FI instead of rims. Actually, I had my rims repaired and powdercoated.
But, I knew from the beginging my car would be stock exterior.
GL, either way you'll be happy.

Myself, I would go for wheels first but on the other hand, having icky 17" stockers, nobody would susupect FI under the hood.

Yes, add cheap wheels. They'll weigh a ton and actually make your car perform WORSE than stock, but do it anyway because some clinical retards on the internet think cheap FI kits on a 350Z are a good idea.

Protip for the idiots: Decent FI will cost several times as much as a set of good wheels. Increasing power so you can put it to the ground through 4 rolling turds is stupid beyond belief.

GET NICE WHEELS FIRST!
Buying a turbo kit first is like putting a body kit on with no rims.
RIMS ARE KEY

Screw the wheels...be a sleeper and kill 'em all!!! Get some good tires for the time being.

Function before form...

Don't get me wrong, i'm all about some good advice. Just aggervating when people act like the only good wheels out there are $8k custom racing wheels, or twin turbo kits w/aftermarket blocks are the only things that matter. (mainly geared torwards junkhead)

I'm just trying to manage my car's budget & get some ideas. I'm not looking to do 10 sec 1/4's. I'm just wanting something clean & fun to drive.

To each is own...

Thanks you...i couldn't believe i'd read this far before someone said it...kit+labor+tune is getting close to 10K...lots of people say they're kit only cost them 4500 or something...but when you add it up from start to finish it's pretty damn scary.

BTW: A completlly installed S/T F/I set-up WILL run you AT LEAST 10G's. Along with the kit you will need : exhaust, test pipes, installation, & tuning so about 4G's on top of the kit. For TT set-ups you may need to add as much as 6G's over kit price. DIY will save you labor of maybe 2.5 G's. You decide if it's worth doing yourself.

I was just trying to point out what a kit really cost...and that's not going to get you even close to 10 sec...too many F&F guys out there thinking a turbo gets them a 10 sec car. you'd be spending 20-30k before you see something like that...I don't think people are trying to bust your bubble...but we've been through it and been stuck with a part that cost more than we thought...still having to buy some little things we can't afford...and not even close to being able to pay for someone to put it on...i just don't want you to have to sit with your kit in the closet for a year...
