as previously mentioned, you won't get any traction with FI on thsoe ugly *** stock wheels, you will need some good tires/rims to hook up with an FI installed or else you'll just crash the car the first site of rain coming your way. Get the rims first bro!
Go FI and if you got stock 18x8s then just get wider tires in the back... 265/35/18. Like someone said, function before form but wheels with wider tires do actually help with function once you get more power.
Eventually, you'll wanna go 285 or 295s in the back with that much power.

What is your budget? what do you have done to your car already? I think this is the most important question. then we can really give you better advice. Another thing people are forgetting to mention, you should also look for a decent clutch/flywheel combo. Way I usually do it, I prepare my car for it first. Do all the supporting mods for F/I, this includes a decent set of tires, not necessary rims (but you have the crappy 17s so you have to go with rims also).
