when i raced the boxster, it was only stop light to stop light, and he wasn't gaining, he was dropping further behinde me. a NEW boxster S probibly would beat a 03-06 Z, not blow the doors off of it but beat it. now a 07' Z most likely not.

you loose performance when you go bigger than factory rims...bigger rims= more weight. 100 lb's (more or less) in the 1/4 mile is about a 10th of a second.

We met the other day a '04 Track Z (I'm not really sure of the year), maybe we should try the Boxster against him so the rim weight isn't that drastic. Now a 2007 Z against a Cayman S would really be a cool match-up.
