the 6.5 is obviously the new rings. One can't buy one, one has to inherit one from the service department.

So you cannot get a .5..but if your motor is bad and they fix it..or an oil consump problem then you get one..is that what you say

this seems futile. the rev up (between the 05 and 07) is a motor with bad rings. the dealer is coming around and seems to be coming to terms with fixing a motor that burns a quart every 300 miles. stay tuned and look for a TSB. jmo

It is silly. Like the 2004.0 and 2004.5. Where the 2004.5 has knee pads. Oh boy!

Actually, the 2004 is essentially the same as the 2003. The 2004.5 is when the changes that fixed some of the issues with the 2003's were implemented, hence the designations.

And it worked! They got better airbags than the 2006 cars came with.

I think the brakes saw an upgrade for all 2006s, not just the 2006.5. 2006.5 Zs have the airbag system, as mentioned before. It won't deploy an airbag if the seat detects a driver/passenger less than 100lbs. Oh, and they've also got an additional 2 cup-holders for 2006.5s.

Where are the additional 2 cup holders? I have a 2006, so just curious where they would be on the 2006.5.

I have a late 2005 build date 06, and I have 4 cup holders. The 2 in the center console, and one on each door. I can't really think of anywhere else they could put cupholders, and for that matter, why you would need more than 4 in a 2 seater...

On the 07 there are 2 cup holders in the sliding door in the center, 2 in the lifting door behind it, and a bottle holder in each door.

Hmmm - that interesting because Courtesy Nissan's online OEM parts catalog only has one set of parts listed for 2003 through 2007 front suspension:

http://www.courtesyparts.com/betasit...5_800_802.html

There is a difference in the rear suspensions between the 2003 and other years:
