Default Whats the curb weight of my new 2004 Touring Z?

Hey proud new owner of a Z, just got it on thursday. I was planing on getting an 07, but decide not to cause I couldnt afford it. Then totally out of the blue when taking my brother to pick up his Acura at the Honda dealership I saw this and ended up getting a pretty good deal. Was really suprised how clean the car was. Has 48,800 miles on it. Got it for 19.6k, is that a good deal?

Anyways I had been researching the 07s for months, but I dont know much about the previous years or models. I know I got a 2004.5 cause I have kneepads and two power outlets. Most importantly I want to know how much it weighs, somewhere around 3200lbs? Pretty sure its a touring cause it has leather power seats and the bose sound system with the sub woofer. I searched all over but couldnt find anything for the weight of the touring edition. Just the enthusist/base model which weighs 3,188, but this should be more cause of the power seats and what not. I was hoping I could find a pdf of the 2004 Z pamplet, like I have for the 07(the one you get fromt he dealership)...but no luck. Is there any other info I should know about this year? Is the year where theres oil buring problems> Or was that the 06? Anyways heres Pics.

Fill it up with gas and go have it weighed. Anything else is an arbitrary number. You can pull up curb weight numbers from hundreds of websites. Whether they are accurate or not is another story.

You have a Stock Touring? My base was 3180 without driver and gas light on.

Looks like I need to toss the spare tires and get the car weight down.

So you're saying with no gas you car would weigh under 3050lbs, and full of gas it would weigh 3163? Over 30lbs less than nissan stated for the early enthusiast models? What all was removed or modified?

Most vehicle scales also read in +/- 5lbs.

I've still got my 04 brochure. Curb weigh is 1467kgs (obviously not counting driver, but with a full tank of gas), no idea what that is in pounds. Lol.

So it looks like KBB is right- 3247lbs. I still have the brochure for the 07, and its 3400 even for the Touring, so it gained 150 pounds over the years.

Also is the curb weight with a full tank of gas? I thoguht it was always with the spare tire, full tank of gas, and no passengers? Is that right?

You know, I always thought it was dry weight, without gas. I'm thinking I've been wrong all these years after weighing mine out. So, at 6lbs per gallon you subtract 15*6 and a base should weight 3090 with 5 gals of gas in her. So, I think I'm overweight. Maybe it's the spoiler, splitter and rear mat, and floor mats in mine. Dunno ..... However, if I lost 30-40lbs it would help.

I have an 04 with knee pads and 2 outlets. The only way to really tell is your VIN.

3253 for my 06 Touring, stated on title, registration and weighed @ 3258lbs full tank. So the +/- 5lb discrepancy sort of holds truth. :P

I have aftermarket wheels/tires, single titanium exhaust and HFC. That can probably account for 30 lbs or so. I have an enthusiast, i should've stated.

You sure? I just pulled this off the internet:

1 gallon of water equals 8.33 lbs.
1 gallon of gasoline equals 5.8 to 6.5 lbs.
1 gallon of ethanol equals 6.59 lbs.
