The 350z is not the best 1/4 car. It takes a lot of money to get big power. Oh yeah, use the search function.

13.8@102.3 mph was my time.. which is pretty abnormal.. but i just recently ran a 13.5@105.7mph with these mods.

JIC DE Spartan Type II exhaust system
TurboXS Non Resonated Test Pipes
Injen CAI.

Next im going for..
Headers
Motordyne Plenum
MREV2

and a nice N/A tune and hopefully that will put me in very low 13's or maybe even a 12.9 if i can land a 1.9 60ft

I ran a 14.1 with exhaust and intake, it is a MT but I have 20's on that were slowing me down drastically.

Welcome. Get the 350Z first. Then we can figure out how to make it faster.

The lambo door kit is worth at least .4 off your time.

my cobra looked stock actually...i had modular comp cams 475/450, 4.10's, Accufab ported and polished throttle body, and spec stage III racing clutch and flywheel....i in no way want my z to look like a riced out honda i just want vertical doors...ive seen them on zs and they look good....unlike most people i cant NOT mod a car....theres no point in buying a car like a z and not messing with it....i dot know how putting a vert. door kit on it makes it look a riced out honda

You need to add a good aftermarket differential to your list, and take the B&M shifter off. Most people end up swapping back to the stock Z shifter, because it isn't bad at all.

lol lambo doors won't shave any time off don't worry, and the rs-r is supposed to be a pretty good/louddd exhaust.

Nice too see your getting a nice list of mods ready, some people don't when they get a Z, and I don't think your z will look "ricey" at all because you are getting a black exterior and leather interior that is sharp, not sure about the lambo doors, not into that really, but if whatever suits you. And as for your mods lets just say 1 or 2 good mods on the cobra will likely gain as much as all your mods listed on the Z

word to the wise.. most people who post regularly here do so because they're enthusiasts, and so they've got plenty of mods. watch who you try to insult.

good luck with your mods and 1/4 times. driving fast in a straight line isn't all that matters, though.

Ignore the no vertical door post as it's a personal preference if you like them then get them if you don't then don't. But as for getting in the 12's i'm pretty sure you need a turbo or supercharger unless your getting an 07. This is just based off what i read on the forum you can talk more in the drag racing section of the forum if you want to know specifics about that. But if your looking at the Z then get ready to get out of the fastest straight line mindset and realize now you can take turns. The Z is a great handling car when you get used to it.
