Default who would buy again?

Would you buy your Z again. Not because of the attention from others or the great styling, but just because it is a quality automobile?

Given the criteria you present: NO, I would not buy a Z again. In fact, I doubt I'll even ever buy a Nissan/Infiniti product again. Of all the automobiles I've owned (in excess of 20) since I was 16 (please don't ask my age) this one has given me the most headaches and the most trips to the service department.

It's back to Honda or Toyota for me. Yes, I know the styling of those brands doesn't even come close to what Nissan is producing, but I've now realized quality of workmanship out-weighs style. What good is styling when only the service department sees the car?!

Default My first Nissan ...

Good question ... and my answer: I would most definitely buy this car again. The one question I keep asking myself is: why the hell did you wait so long?

I love my Z. I've owned a host of cars in my life - ranging from the domestic norms to the extravagant imports. I'd take this car over any and all of them. It's an absolute pleasure to drive.

without a doubt. I dont know why everyone has been having problems. I have 6000 miles and its been nothing but a dream to me. I have always had good luck with all my Z's (240, 280 300turbo). When they come out with the next phase I'll probably get it.

Without a doubt I would definitely buy again and plan on getting whatever the Z turns into in four years from now. You gotta expect to have problems with a totally new vehicle I actually don't even mind going to the dealer to have them fix whatever I find wrong ,the dealer I go to is actually very nice never a problem that they won't help me with ,pine belt Nissan in toms River New Jersey.
PS, but I definitely won't get the Bose stereo system.

So far my only complaint (which I didn't think was a problem when I first picked up my Z) is the bouncy suspension.

It seems so far that the eibach pro kit is a simple ~$300 fix, so I should be a 100% happy camper post-installation.

Definitely. I too have owned a host of other cars. Always try to have one sporty vehicle and one regular sedan. My sporty cars have included a TR3, Porsche (356), BWW (2002), Alfa (GTV), Supra (put over 130,000 miles on that beauty). None gave me the sheer driving pleasure of the Z.

thanks for the info. I've been debating on not accepting delivery and getting a g35, which doesn't seem to have the tire feathering and something as more of an everyday driver. I just want a fun car to drive until i can get my porsche. my possible z is due for delivery this week (it's taking them 4 days to ship it from Chicago, only a 4 hour trip). Then i will finally get to make a final decision.

This is the 3rd Z I've owned - they've all been VERY dependable so I'd do it again in a sec.

No questions asked I would buy again. I was visiting a customer today with 2 colleagues. One of my colleagues suggested that we drive from the office to the site in one car, as we were all going back to the office after the call. I declined just so that I could drive the Z. It's been 6 days since I accepted the Z and you can't wipe the smile off my face

I would buy this car again and the problems are almost all resolved. Nissan makes a quality product. I've owned 5 of them. This car is a keeper, I intend to keep it for 8-10 years.
