I had a not-so-close friend call my car cute when he first saw it. What made my day was that his hot as hell wife immediately corrected him saying, "its not cute - this car's f**king HOT!"

This thread would make a great basis for a custom plate "NOTCUTE".
I think we've all heard the cute thing, it's a terrible terrible word to describe a car. You know what is worse, when they call it little, sometimes used with cute "it's such a cute little car", oh man. It's not little, it's not cute! I told a friend, a girl, not to call it cute, I said you may refer to it as sexy. She laughed and laughed, and thought I was insane for telling her to call it sexy. Bleh, stupid people! This girl I like called it cute initially, now she refers to it as "your beautiful car"

Its ok... my gf can't tell a 350z from a hummer. I quote... "It has four wheels, it goes vroom, its a car!" She said the only way she can tell my car from others are the silver door handles. Welp, that means I won't be shaving my door handles anytime soon.

Not that I drive the Z, but I've had a girl call my car "cute" only once. She herself looked remarkably like Halle Berry, so I of course had noooo problem with it.
My favorite compliments to date came when I saw 2 co-workers ogling my car in the parking lot after work one evening. The one girl says "This is the most stunning car I've ever seen!", while the other agreed "Yes it is quite striking!". Two women who obviously have a much more appropriate command of the English language.

As a woman, I don't mind other women calling my car "cute"--now if a GUY came up to me and said I had a CUTE car, I'd have to wonder...................................................... ..............................

My Mom called mine cute for like the 50th time, after repeatedly being told that that is not an appropriate term. Finally out of desperation I told her that if she did it one more time I'm taking MYSELF out of the will!

LOL i got a kick out of reading this thread.
I would have to agree that having your car called "cute" really sucks.
Luckily, though I've never had anyone call my car cute. The guys usually call it badass or somthing like that.....and the girls just say "I love your car".....
Calling your car cute= definitely not cool

When I first got my car, a lot of girls said that my car was cute. I don't even bother to correct them, since the these girls don't know much about cars. I showed one of them a 300ZXTT (a very clear pic), and she said, "Is that a Mustang?"
My favorite compliment was when I was driving, and a lady pulled up next to me in a Suburban and asked, "How much that car cost?" I said, "37". She said, "That ***** tight!."

Last's night Feedback.. Heh !
Last night...
A little trip down Main Street near PCH in Huntington Beach..
It's a slow drive because the shops Spill out to the curb's. A lane in each direction.
I look at a girl, her eyes have a glint of recognition. She buzzes with her friends.. And as I go by, they all yell out
PUZ Z
I didn't mean to cause a riot. HA !
Cheers Amy -

I've gotten the cute thing happen quite a few times too and it really annoys me. I've had a few other stupid "compliments" - the same thing from multiple people - "Thats a pretty nice car, but I don't really like it, it isn't very practical, I'd rather have an SUV or a 4 door Civic." What is even worse is when I am out with my g/f and she sees a Camry or a Civic and tells me those are her dream cars but she doesn't really like the Z. I really don't understand some people's taste in cars!
