wich to buy????????350z
hey I'm new to the sight and am looking to purchase a z in the next day... I know the whole cara very well and am not that "new" to them. my question is, I have 3 that I'm looking at. the first being a 2003 TRACk model with Gredy Evo cat back aexaust, megan resonated testpipes , JWT fly wheel and SPEC stage 2+ clutch and in the BLACK color (the car) the only draw back is the milage of 97k. but price is mid 15's
. and trans was rebuilt at 90K.
the second is a 2003 Silver model, not a base but enthusist or touring, not too sure yet... with 45k on it, and no mods what so ever.
The 3rd with is a White 2003 TRACK with VOLK SF wheels (gold color with stainless lip) and going for higher 15's and got 90 k...
Wich one would be best? as the easist obtainable is the black track model (number one)... and I live right by atrack that regularly fdoes time attacks, etc... and am into raod racing/autoX.... but also need it as a daily sometimes to work wich is only 5 miles away...

I see what your saying but if i want performance, and racing ability, wouldn't you want the features of the track over all others...? and I appriciate very much all the input, as would like as many opinions as possible.

definitely go with the stock car with 45k.
Of course I would also recommend running a carfax on any vehicle you purchase. I think its 20-30 bucks for a month of unlimited car fax reports, well worth it IMHO.
Think about in two years your Z with 90k miles will have 130k or so and the one with 45k will only have maybe 85k or so, obviously depending on how much you drive, but I think you get my point.
You will have plenty of fun with the car stock and you can do little things here and there all the while having a low mileage car.

I would go with the stock one too, but if the other cars are being sold by a private owner I'm sure you can get the history on the other two like how many owners, ever in an accident, service history, garaged, etc. I personally can get a good idea if the car was taken care of by the person selling it and their home or gamage. If the ones with 90k are being sold by dealers I'd stay away from them. just my .02

I would keep looking, but I guess stock. I just got my Touring w/ NAV with new tranny for $17k with 70,000 miles and I know they were all freeway miles since his commute was from OC to San Diego every day.
