Default HELP: tips and reminders to buy a 07 base

Hello everyone! I've been a member of this forum for a long time, but i dont own a Z. I finnaly am going to buy a 07 base this weekend. I want to know what price is reasonable at this time of year(08 is coming out soon). I live in san jose/ cupertino area in California. What kind of deals are people getting?
I was quoted 27750+ tax+ lic fees from StevenCreek Nissan. the invoice is $ 26700. Is it possible to get it down to Invoice-500 + tax+ fees??

and what else should I be catious about when I walk into the dealership?

Thanks for your help.

---Roger

27750 out the door sounds reasonable, but NOT BEFORE tax, liscen bla bla bla. If they don't want to deal then just leave.

You can easily get a car down to invoice+400 if you join Costco. They have set pricing.

I talked the salesman down to 29 out the door WITH TAXES, but shortly after leaving the dealership I found an 06 for 22k. No oil consumption, but I wish i went with the 07

WOW !!! Tax / Reg included ..... Wow !!!! I'd see if I could get that deal !

Your da man.....

Once tax and reg was added to my Base deal at 500 under invoice I took delivery at $28,788 and that was a screaming fleet deal direct from the internet fleet manager I thought back in '03 on a 04.5. Plus the invoice has gone up since then .....

However, that did include .... floor mats, cargo group, rear spoiler add, sills, and splash guards.

I think if you call another dealership and ask for the internet manager you'll be able to get it down to $26,500 plus tax + lic. Try Superior Nissan in Newark/Fremont.

Nissan usually does 1k cash back once the new model year arrives...I would wait for that to get the ultimate deal. I would go for 1500 under invoice in that case. Thats the deal I got on the 04 I had....but I noticed they do the rebate every year... My redline enthusiast was $27.4 OTD taxes and all. Best deal I ever got...

Stevens Creek quoted me 25,500 before ttl a couple of months ago if I remember right...I didnt pull the trigger but I was a good deal. If you want a no hassle dealership go to the Concord Nissan If I would have ended up buying a Nissan I would have bought from them.

I think you can do $25000 +ttl for a good deal. Just start with the internet sales manager or he can't cut his costs enough since there would be a salesman involved.

BTW - What was the outcome .... did Roger buy ?????
