As much as I love my Z (with upgraded suspension), I don't have to be ignorant. Above 100mph a Z could overtake an Elise, but no way before that with equal drivers. In corners, a Z CANNOT go faster than an Elise. And here you are saying you're passing Elise's and Z06's with ease at the local auto-x track? I could maybe see passing them on high speed tracks, but at auto-x? If what you're saying is true, they were horrible drivers.

But here you are, telling people to sell the Z and get off the forum because they know an Elise will be faster at an auto-x track? wowsers.

Was talking to you? Read my post again . . .

your posts make my head hurt.

"Newb -- you obviously don't know what you're talking about. The Z can compete with the Elise, and even an Exige in autox or the track. I know . . . I regularly ran faster times than an Exige in our local autox events. Heck, I ran faster times than an occassional Z06. As far as overall comfort, I'll have to agree that the Lotus is on a totally different (lower) level than a Z."

I guess im a "newb" because I just bought a Z and I only have 6 posts.

I thought this was a serious forum, not one filled with little kids claiming to beat corvettes at their "local auto-x".

When you get some track time, and experience, Write me a PM, I'll be happy to teach you a technique or two. Until then, let the grown ups do the talking, k?

Ahhh, newb is now an expert with the 350Z after he's had it for a few days. Again, you're just showing your ignorance if you don't think the Z can compete with a Lotus. So, what's the matter, you couldn't afford a Lotus so you settled for the Z? If you think so highly of the Lotus, why didn't you buy one?

Myself, I bought the Z before the Lotus came out, and didn't trade it because the Z actually has enough storage for road trips. I spent a lot of money upgrading the Z so it's closer to the Lotus but it just wouldn't be able to compete at auto-x still.

Why you so ignant?

actually, I was going to get a used elise with 9,000 miles for 39,000 but I went to nissan and they were getting rid of a new 05 aniversary Z loaded 10,000 off sticker price so I bought it. Now that car is gone I was looking at elise again but I could not find one used with low mileage. If I had the extra money I would get a elise in a heartbeat, but for now I love my 07 z.

My next door neighbor has one, love it love it but NOT for daily driver. it will spank the Z all over the place but hey the car weighs 1900 pounds. If you have the funds, by all means but have a daily driver as well. You can also expect to replace tires every 7500 miles

I didnt realise that I was discussing this with some one that owns and "modifies" and AT sportscar. I feel ignorant. You are right buddy, I shall sell my 6 speed Z, buy a Lotus, convert it to AT and then talk ****. Oh, paint the wheels and put stickers on the doors, 5whp gain, right?

Have a good day buddy, im done waisting time with you. And for the guy who wants the Lotus, BUY IT, you wont regret it.

Buys a Z, joins the forum last week and now a resident expert in this forum. Does not own a Lotus but wishes he had one. Probably has not even tracked his Z so has no clue what the Z can do. Loser . . . post again when you've tracked your Z and show me some results. Or better yet, since you bragged about your expertise, come to Texas and show me what you can do in person. Otherwise, STFU -- you're just a poser.

Oh BTW, look up in the dictionary the definition of "waisting."

i guess a touring elise minus the sports suspension is quite livable as daily driver. They get good gas mileage also.

Hey a-hole, I've been ignoring you but you keep replying to my posts that are not even addressed to you. You're a freakin' Canadian so I understand your stupidity of not being able to comprehend simple stuff.

I like the looks of the Lotus' and they do handle really well. But I just can't see spending all that money on one. I'd buy a used R34 skyline before I'd buy that, but I"m a huge Nissan person.

I've been here much longer than you and I still think you're an idiot. it matters not how long he has been a member here, it doesn't take that much time to see through your ignorance.
