Default What have you replaced on your Z

I looked around and didnt see a dedicated thread for this. I was wondering what all you have had replaced on your Z that was defective from the factory or just didnt work right and how many times you have done it.

Ill go first

New tranny, both window motors, 3 new headunits before going aftermarket, and tranny with clutch and flywheel. Fairly typical for the Z I think but I was wondering how bad it can get

Throttle body at about 10K.

BTW: It never "failed", it just threw a code and Nissan replaced it. (It triggered the check engine light at the tail of the dragon, but I drove it at the dragon, and all the way back to Florida with no problems other than that annoying light)

2003 109k miles

tranny replaced at 58k miles

window motor replaced both sides once at around 35k miles and my passenger one just went out again...they want 535 dollars to fix it

replaced flywheel and clutch but it was done because I wanted to, didn't have any problems.

Have always had skipping problem with my Bose system but never swapped it out

she's still running damn good at 109k!

03 59k on the clock and jsut had tranny replaced under warr. both my window motors are shot but i am not ready to shell out 150 for each just yet.

If you had your 6spd replaced please tell us why exactly...were you stranded or did it make noise/shifting issue.

Mine was making lound knocking noise that came and went, no shifting issues were present.

Had my clutch and tranny replaced due to the 3rd gear grind, window motors and streaks fixed, front tires for feathering, rear axles for clicking, rear trunk release latch, passenger side kick plate, air bag. I think thats it.
