lol ZB
Left the mspfz at home today. Didn't want the guilt (or the payback) of dragging her around the show for hours. We missed you.

Tim,
Great meeting you and the others from the club. Was a good event. Didn't know it was your birthday. You should have told us.
The event drew a lot of Z folks. It was interesting to hear their reactions to the 350's. One of the most common questions was, "when will it have a turbo?" Apparently a lot of 300 ZXTT drivers.
The Silverstone looked fantastic both in the sun and in the shade. Very rich looking. I liked the LeMans better in the shade. In the sun looks dark gold. In the shade looked a lot more orange. They had a LeMans Touring model with burnt orange seats. Loved the leather. Everyone I talked to loved the interior. No one thought it looked cheap. A 240Z driver told me he thought the 240 felt a little more roomy inside.
Met a salesman in charge of the Z's at his dealership. They have 16 preorders and another 6 they got from other dealers who couldn't fill their orignal slots. They sold all of them for $2,000 over MSRP. He gets his first 2 in the first week in September and will have almost all the rest by the end of October. He says the last 1 or 2 may come in in early November. One of the first ones is going to the owner of the dealership, who may keep it or sell it off the lot.
He expects to be able to sell any of the first non preorder ones for $40,000.
