Question Recovery tow hook license plate mount. Help please!

How do u get the recovery tow hook cover off to mount a license plate holder? If anyone has done it before, I'm afraid to break it. I'm a ***** and I just got my car and I'm afraid i'm going to pull the whole grill off. Thanks for helping a noob out

Use a screw driver, insert it into the top of the cover, carefully pry it out. Don't lose it, it's a pain to replace.

Stillen has a mounting plate kit for the tow hook. I don't think you can do it with the standard plate.

oh sorry, i misunderstood. I think putting in a license plate involves drilling, probably want to go to your dealer for that.

Pull , but on mine one of the two tabs get stuck. Reach around the sides and make sure they are coming out straight.

Look under it. You will see that you have to pull down a bit in the back at each side. It then slides toward you easily.
