Anyone have an idea what nissan is planning to change, if anything, for 2004 ????? Hope some of the minor bugs are worked out. Maybe better stereo, color changes, etc..

they will likely add a new silver, this will replace another color, the only other news we have is that brickyard will most likely be going away, which is confusing, cause that would leave 3 silvers. so common sense is that one of the old silvers will also go bye bye, meaning that something has to replace the brickyard? but no word on what thatll be. MY GUESS is either a green or yellow, but thats not in any way official.

thats all Ive heard, stereo should stay the same, as far as nissan is concerned, bose works, and it works properly, it works to the specs that they offer. meaning there is nothing to fix, they can not be held responsible for people not being satisfied with it, you can never make everyone happy. verdict:bose stays.

no other hints at changes, I heard alot of rumors from a guy from japan, changing the gas door, changing interior layout, moving the cig lighter, changing the grill opening, ect ect. no idea what changes they might do if any at all.

oh one thing, we've seen the convertable, and its the same, so perhaps the convertable is using 2003 interior not the "new" 04 design, its possible, but if the convertable is THE EXACT car that will be released, then nothing has changed that I can see.

Spoke to a salesman this weekend (still deciding on whether to buy this year); he wouldn't give any specifics.

He did say they would most likely drop a colar and pick up a new one -- didn't know which one in either case. He didn't think it would be Brick that would be dropped, but then again it was apparent he didn't know all that much about the car anyway.

As for other changes, other than the obvious convertible offering for '04, he seems to think there could be more chrome to spruce up the interior. Nothing confirmed; just the usual bs you would expect from a salesman.

Probably 50-250.00 depending on what they want to charge you for. Similar price increases have happened fairly consistent with the G35s and it's been within that range. Nothing too crazy and usually has to do with adding a feature(like HID standard)

Thanks for the feed back. I knew of the convertible but unsure of anything else. Hoping to by a 2004 if first year bugs are worked out, but if nothing at all changes might pick up a left over 2003. Cigarette lighter moved to the front would be good for radar detectors, different colors, little better interior and maybe sunroof but its really a great car as is. Hoping some time in August or September I'll have my Z. Can't wait ! Thanks again
