dont get me wrong i love my Z, i just dont want to see that much money go into it and at the end be not worth it, it is alot of money. thats saying if i had that much money.

yeah its really not our job to tell him how to spend 11 dollars or 11 grand. personally, thats life. you live. you have fun and do what makes you happy.


personally if i had 11-15 for my car, id go with a built supercharged engine for go, tinted windows, a nice spoiler, and a nice body kit.

...or one of those sound systems that can make my house shake of course i have a friend with a sound system in it thats probably worth more then the car itself. it takes up the entire trunk of this acura rsx or whatever. its 3 grand, and the sub will rattle pictures off your walls if its any where near by

 

HAHA...why build an engine and go fi when you can blow people eardrums till they bleed before you race them. My honest opinion build and go TT. And for those saying to go c6 or z06. I've liked vettes since I was a little dude but there's nothing like personalizing your own car to your expectations and blowing past them in a car they thought was slower to begin with. Nuff said.

ill be honest i have no clue what i would actually do with 15 grand to a z. this doesnt mean save your money, or that if i had 15k to spend on a car i wouldnt, but honestly, 15k? id probably put 8-9k to pay it off . lol. then upgrade with my remaining money.

yeah, you could get a faster car like a corvette i mean, but you can also get an evo. when i bought the car i had 20k to put down and i realise i definatley could have just bought a faster, cheaper, used car, but i'm not in the game for raw speed, you can make anything fast...i mean, look at an evo. they sell for the same price used and are "faster" 0 to 60...but i ask you..

If I were you i'd dump the sound system idea, i don't really think it's that's necessary... But if you really want it, you don't really need 5k for a system, probably more like 3k for good quality. That gives you about 12k to play around with. I'd say, Vortech, with all supporting mods, injectors, EMS, etc... 6-7k, Or you could go TT which would probably be a little more. Next, wheels and tires to keep all the power on the ground,(TimeAttack's are going to be tough to find), but I would reccomend SSR Proffessor SP1's, 18's or 19's + Tires, about 4,500. Then I would go with some kind of exhaust, I reccomend HKS True Dual + Test Pipes (Sounds Amazing).
My numbers are obviously a little off, but it's just a pretty good general idea. Good Luck

Easy invest into a mutal fund and gamble with some of it it some risky stocks.

 

$10K-$11K?!!? That's a good chunk of change. And to waste it in adding a ton of weight in audio seems pointless. I'm sure you could set up a decent system for about $2K, then spend $3K on some nice Volks, then suspension and you're still well under $11K. You might try a TT setup for that kind of coin being available.

 

You've got to do your homework....shop around and compare...or ask around...your just throw your money away...

 

INVEST IT!! Wait 1 yr and take the intrest and buy crap. You can make $500 on that each year.
