Wanted to share with you guys...

I've always read plenty of threads of how **** happens to people's Zs at gym's but thought it could never happen to me.

I was at my gym (lifetime fitness) working out with my buddy and we usually park our cars (my Z and his Supra) directly under this light post towards the back of the parking lot where no one else parks. Tonight as we were heading back to our cars we see an SUV circle our cars a couple times. I knew something was about to go down so I ran to my car just as this kid pops out of the SUV with a spray paint can about to spray my car so I beep the key alarm which startled the kid but almost didn't stop him. I got to the car before he could do anything and slapped the can out of his hand. He ran back to the SUV but I was so pissed I didn't stop.

I got in my car and chased them until I teach them a lesson. Finally, after half-a-mile of chasing we reach a stoplight so I get out of the car, yes at the light while it's red, and take the spray can they were going to use on my car and paint two of the kid's chrome rims. I took off as soon as I could and he obviously couldn't catch me.

I've always wanted to teach people who egg, spray paint, spit, etc... on nice cars they can't afford a lesson...and today I did.

Well, had to share!

I was thinking about that too. Hopefully I can park behind it where no can see it!?

I'll still have the chills every time i go back to my car.

ahah. that's great that you stopped it just in time. I would buy a beater if you have to go to that gym again.

 

yeah I actually use my bmw 525i as a DD, but the Z is too much fun to drive. I haven't driven my bimmer in a month.

Lifetime Fitness breeds crime for some reason. The manager in Tempe admitted they are targeted by thieves and vandals all the time. I had my bag stolen out of a LOCKED LOCKER in Tempe Arizona location. Their staff sux and the corporate office isn't much better. It's a piece of **** organization.

Ohhh and those security cameras don't work, they're just for show. At least in Tempe.

Wait you had a witness and plates? I'd just called it in and let the courts deal with them thugs. In this state that's a Felony to tag. That's how they would look at it. They got off easy imo. You could have gone to jail for the act.

Still, I've got to say .... Hurray !!! .... I would have sprayed the whole side of the car so I could ID it later ... then told the cops that is why I did it. He, he, he .... Just watch for the gun. ;-(

or you could park it there once more and just hope for the guy to show up again haha...with you coming out to surprise him again of course...
